Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!!!

I found this from http://www.sikharchives.com/?p=6862

about what happens after death

Sikhism

Firstly, all rules pertaining to God and the Laws Of Metaphysiks are relative since the Universe is the creation of God’s will and God can change his will at any instant. Having said this, the following is asserted. The principle object is to break the cycle of transmigration of the soul. The Law Of Karma governs the transmigration of the soul. The Law Of Karma is the metaphysical analogue of Newton’s Third Law Of The Classical Physics. If you live a virtuous life, the cycle of transmigration will be broken. There is no Heaven and there is no Hell. If you have lived a virtuous life, upon death you shall merge into the Universe and since God is the Universe and also separate and apart therefrom, you will merge into God. You will lose all sense of individuality and consciousness when such union occurs. The Holy Sikh Scripture, The Guru Granth Sahib, constantly refers to the marriage of the soul bride with God. Consider this union as the mingling of a drop of water into the Ocean. If your life has been morally reprehensible, the cycle of transmigration of the soul will continue. You may at the Will of God be punished for morally wrong conduct. But the will of God is not subject to any immutable iron laws of Metaphysiks. It is not necessary to be a Sikh to obtain union with God but this is highly recommended. The Sikh Scripture provides a simple formula for obtaining union with God. Live a simple and humble life, resonate with God through the sublime and transcendent poetry of the Guru Granth Sahib; make an honest living and share your earnings generously with all. If you are inclined become a Knight Of The Khalsa Order and protect the down-trodden, the oppressed and the weak of this earth without any regard to their religion, caste, creed or color. Protect The Path (The Sikh Nation) with your sword-arm and always remember that the pillars along The Path are the Sikh Martyrs who have laid down their lives to protect the religion of Slave Nanak. Always remember that from the very first day that Slave Nanak gave his very first sermon, the enemies of The Word (Shabad Guru) have been been attempting to destroy The Word. Never forget the campaigns of extermination that were promulgated on at least two occasions to destroy The Word by killing every living Sikh. Finally remember, that the Knights Of The Khalsa Order have never fought a a single battle in which they have had a numerical majority. The Knights of The Khalsa Order prefer to fight when vastly outnumbered.

Is this true?? and does it follow the theory of sikhi

I also found the buddhism theory interesting as well

Buddhism

The goal of life is to break the cycle of transmigration of the soul and enter the state of Nirvana. According to Buddhism, a soul is simply a life force which cannot be destroyed and continues in a state of transmigration until a state of Nirvana is attained by it. Nirvana is a perfect state of self conscious enlightenment. Souls which have attained Nirvana reside permanently in this state of self conscious and perfect enlightenment. Souls which have reached this perfect state of self-conscious enlightenment are called Buddhas. Nirvana does not depend upon the existence of God. If your life is not virtuous enough, your soul continues in the the cycle of transmigration and will upon your death transmigrate into another being which may be a human, animal or any other sentient life form. Even an amoeba, for example. Transmigration of the soul and the attainment of Nirvana are governed by the Law Of Karma. The law of Karma does not depend upon the existence of a God, it is the metaphysical analogue of Newton’s Third Law of the Classical Physics. As the soul transmigrates, it can transit through six spheres of existence: Heaven, Human Life, Asura (realm of Demi-Gods), Hungary Ghost (this is where gluttons and persons with excessive cravings end up), Animals (this is where you will end up if you have killed animals) and Hell. Hell is a terrible place where horrible tortures are instituted to punish evil-doers. These six spheres are not permanent abodes for the soul and simply spheres into which a soul can temporarily transmigrate.

At the very last moment, one who thinks of wealth, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again, in the form of serpents. ||1||

O sister, do not forget the Name of the Lord of the Universe. ||Pause||

At the very last moment, he who thinks of women, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a prostitute. ||2||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of his children, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a pig. ||3||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of mansions, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a goblin. ||4||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of the Lord, and dies in such thoughts,

says Trilochan, that man shall be liberated; the Lord shall abide in his heart. ||5||2||

" If you live a virtuous life, the cycle of transmigration will be broken. There is no Heaven and there is no Hell"

This is incorrect living a virtuous life is not enough to break the cycle of transmigration. Even by doing simran and bani isn't enough meaning if by the end of your life you have not obtained gian then your still stuck in the cycle. The only way is through self realisation once you get this then your mukht hence cycle of transmigration will be broken. Also to get self realisation you must break all attachments in life....

Also there are many hells and heavens for e.g. there is small and big hells also there are diff types of heavens such as there is janna paradise that muslims believe in as well...Also others but you get the point..
