I've just recently started using Apple iPod touch 4th Generation and the iPad 1. Both of these devices are fantastic for reading Gurbani. I loaded my own PDF files such as those found on www.gurbanifiles.org like Professor Sahib Singh's Darpan , Sri Dassam Granth bani and I downloaded the Gurbani Anywhere application which is a Godsend.

Darpan was very big so I broke it up into ten shorter files. It really fantastic to have Gurbani on devices so one can read it at any time.

SGGS is also readable on these devices as padh shedh or larivaar. The clarity is remarkable. The iPod touch charges fully within about an hour but runs down after about twelve hours of perpetual file searching/reading etc. The iPad takes a little longer to fully charge but the charge lasts for many days.
