should a kirpan be sharp or blunt or does it not really matter?

surely if your kirpan is blunt then it shows that your not preprepared to use it, and if your not prepared to use it then what use is wearing a kirpan?

You should be Tyar Bit Tyar so your shaster Should be sharp. As for keeping it if its part of your body. How often do you clean your body but we forget to clean one part of our body (our kirpan)
