what is kachhi baani as veer u said how could be kachi when it is tellling you how to be a better sikhs. How about the 52 poets of guru gobind singh they always used to make poems like those ,was that kachui bani???? any thing that talks about god isnt kachi bani. How about dadhi vara they preach but most of the time they singh poems now u tell me is that kachi bani.

the main point is what is kachhi bani after ur views?

anything that makes u want to come in to sikhi isnt kachi bani. If it were kachi bani it wouldnt be saying good stuff about wagheguru or the guru granth sahib. If u have listened to keertanis such as sant baba ishar singh, sant baba attar singh there taranas are very powerful. Those words want u to come in to sikhi. Even dhadhi vara they make u feel like making a difference. So how could that be kachi when it makes u want to be a better sikhs.

P.s I know enough people who came in to sikhi by listening to tarana.

Now i agree 100% that Taranas and Dhadi Vaaran are GREAT! but they are not equall to Gurbani (Shabad)....for us only Gurbani is the True Word! Kuchi Bani does not mean it is 'kuchi' (not solid) but it means that it is not the Word revealed to Guru Sahiban and does not come directly from the Almighty......BUT surely it is inspired by Gurbani....therefore as i said IT IS GREAT, but it is not Gurbani!

so i do not know if saying 'kuchi' is correct, we can just say it is non-Gurbani....and that is all...

All im saying is u shouldnt call it kachi when it is saending out a good message. TO pump up the sangat.
