Will God Forgive Me For A Broken Promise

I have promised God something but have broken the promise more than once. I always ask God for forgiveness and have always asked for strength, but I keep breaking the promise. Does this make me a sinner, will He ever forgive me now?

The key is to not make a promise in the first place. Who are we to make promises with God? Chances are we will break them time and time again. We are simply to weak to keep our promises.

Instead of promising, tell God that you have a problem and that you want to give it up. Tell God that you are weak and that there is every chance that you will keep doing what you want to give up but ask him for the strength and support to rid you of whatever it is and to help you again when/if you fall down. I guarantee that a lot of the shame of breaking the promise will go and you will be fitter for solving your problem.

Don't make promises with God.
