Ik Onkar Sri Akaal Sahai

To all humble and concerned Sikhs in the United Kingdom, please accept my Fateh;

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa || Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ||

With all the blessings from Waheguru (wonderful Lord) and the prayers from the Sikh community, and despite my incarceration and confinement by the corrupt government, I am happy to report that I remain in high spirits (Chardi Kala).

In the presence of Waheguru (God), I pray for the well being for all my fellow Sikhs and for the freedom of our nation.

May Waheguru bless us; bless us with unity so that the community can come together and achieve our goal of Khalistan.

I am unable to express in words the magnitude of support I am receiving from the Sikh community in the UK. In this hardship the UK community has amazed me and I find myself awestruck and I am finding it difficult to express the feelings I have in my heart and soul except to say that I am extremely thankful for the Sangat’s (congregation) love and support.

I would specifically like to thank 2 advocates who have taken the time and effort to do Parchaar (educate) and Seva (selfless service) in the Sangat. They are educating the youth and elders alike about the true history – past and now presently – of the Sikh struggles. Despite the contemptible actions of the corrupt government these Gursikhs are not allowing any other hurdle get in their way of Sewa. They are helping both Sikh and non-Sikh Political Prisoners very bravely and without any fear.

Amongst those being held in these harsh jails, I must report that there are many who after so many years on jail, do not know why they are in prison.

Additionally, their families have been left to suffer.

In these difficult times it is the UK charity, SOPW, who with the support of the UK and International Sangat, is paying for these prisoners’ lawyers, other jail expenses and also assisting their families at their time of need. I would specifically like to thank these 2 advocates and also the rest of the SOPW team for the great work they are doing.

I pray to God, that you all be blessed with everything, for not only helping me but many others who are like me: Political Prisoners. You have been helping and supporting us for the last 3 decades. I pray that Waheguru blesses you all with more strength to serve the Sangat and Panth tirelessly. For OUR freedom.

I would like to request that the UK Sikh community help SOPW with their mind, body and soul, so that they can continue to serve the innocent Sikh Political Prisoners.

I would sincerely like to thank all the God-loving followers for the support they have given. It is with their energy (spiritual and physical) that many challenges have been overcome.

From me and all the other inmates we would like to thank you all. With your permission I would like to end this letter here.

Please forgive me for any mistakes.

Not sure about what jail.anyone else know?

Jagtar Singh Hawara, a co-accused in Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh assassination, has said he has ideological differences with Balwant Singh Rajoana, facing death in the case.

Hawara's lawyer Jaspal Singh Manjpur on Saturday released a statement which was written by Hawara and handed over to him during his recent hearing in a case in a Ludhiana based court, the lawyer said here.

Hawara said Rajoana's statement against Resham Singh Germani and Joga Singh UK, two community leaders settled abroad, that they are "traitors" of Sikh community, is misleading and unfortunate.

Hawara said though he has ideological difference with Rajoana over some Panthic issues, he wished him long life.

Babbar Khalsa terrorist Balwant Singh Rajoana was scheduled to hanged on Saturday. But his hanging was stayed by the Centre on March 28 following a mercy petition by top sikh religious body SGPC to President Pratibha Patil.

Sangat jee, I had a question about the relationship between Rajoana and others that were accused in the Beant Singh assasination. This is possibly is a different topic, but I don't want to create a topic that is in anyway taking away from the unity of the panth.

From what I have read in Bhai Balwant Singh jees letters is that he has a bit of a rocky relationship with Hawara. He never calls him out or anything, but does mention one incident in which he told Hawara not to use his name, as Hawara put out a letter saying Rajaona was being ill treated in jail, when in fact he said that he was in chardi kala. And Rajoana also mentions how the cinema blasts and such acts like that are a step backward for the movement. Possibly this was a shot at Hawara, who was implicated in that case.

And then Hawara has also mentioned his ideological differences, also stated in the article above.

Also, even though I can't divulge into the details, a family member of Hawara/Paramjit Singh (who is also accused, and broke out of jail with Hawara) told me an aboslutely amazing story about how those two met, how it was planned, how they were caught, how the prison break occured etc.

And from Rajoana's letters there is differences in the stories. As Rajoana largely says it was him and Dilawar Singh.

Again, this is not to take away from the unity of the panth, as even with some of teh differences between them they seem cordial and wish each other the best.

But I am a bit curious, and was wondering if anybody could shed any light on further details.

I request admins to delete any responses that talk ill of any of these singhs.

Yes, I believe Hawara said he was not responsible. But Rajoana did mention that the cinema blasts were against the cause of Sikh freedom struggle. I was just speculating that maybe he thought it was Hawara, and that is why he said it. Nothing more then speculation, as Rajoana never said anybody's name.

Also, do you guys know more about Resham Singh Germany and Joga Singh UK?
