Earphones For Sikhs

Wouldn't it be nice if somebody invented some really low profile earphones that slid up through the side of your turban to rest in your ears? Some that were actually fixed to the end of a Sylaee (needle), or had a long fixed neck rather than just floppy wire. This way you could actually slide them up the side of your turban without having to get your thumb and fore finger up to your ear too and spoiling your turban's neatness in the process.

This would make listening to keertan much more accessible and appealing for Sikhs on public transport.

I don't suppose if anybody's come across any earphones that already happen to fill this criteria?

Imagine the market demand for such headphones? If a resourceful Singh brought such a product to market he'd sell a shed-load!

Let’s hope an electronics manufacturer picks up on this. We’ll get our earphones, and they’ll get rich – it would be a ‘win win’ situation!

You should create a prototype sketch of the kind of earphones needed. I'm having a hard time imagining the shape, etc. You never know, YOU could be the guy who get's this idea off the ground!
