AMRITSAR: The erstwhile terrorists of Sikh militant movement who have lost their properties or other belongings in litigation etc. while fighting their cases were most vulnerable in taking recourse to extremist activists on the behest of their former bosses currently taking shelter in Pakistan on the mercy of ISI.

The increased human traffic between India and Pakistan after the beginning of peace process between two nations have also multiplied the chances of increased activities of ISI and Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) to find susceptible targets who could be motivated to carry out disruptive activities in India, these were some of the fears in the minds of security agencies currently keeping a strict vigil on the profile of passengers traveling between two nations - may be under the garb of peaceniks. "The intelligence agencies are on the job" said S K Sharma, I G Jalandhar Range while talking to TNN on Sunday.

Sources are of the view that though there was no imminent threat of revival of terrorism in the state but desperate Sikh militant leaders like Wadhwa Singh of Babbar Khalsa, Parmjit Singh Panjwar of Khalistan Commando Force (Panjwar) Gajinder Singh of Dal Khalsa International, Lakhbir S

ingh Rode of the International Sikh Youth Federation and Ranjit Singh Nitta of Khalistan Jindabad Force, could use unpredictable means like using women and young children as undercover agents for passing on information, delivering arms and ammunition and arranging for residence etc.

However, Sharma said that since 1994 - <admin-profanity filter activated> end of terrorism – there have been few bomb blast incidents and sporadic incidents of violence in Punjab adding that there had not been any organised terrorist activity. He said such incidents could also be the frantic attempts of Sikh militant leaders to make their presence felt and and also their relevance in the eyes of their mentors - ISI bosses.

Sharma, who have closely observed the days of militancy in Punjab said that presently three Sikh militant organisations namely Babbar Khalasa, Khalistan Commando Force and Khalistan Jindabad Force were active and were backed by ISI.

Sources informed that Khalistan sympthasiers who had been successful in taking asylum in countries like Canada, England, Kenya, Switzerland, France etc. were also playing an active role in motivating Sikh youth and recruiting them for materializing their nefarious designs in India. In recent past Khalistan sympathizers including Manmohan Singh Khalsa, Pritpal Singh Khalsa, Harminder Singh Khalsa, Master Karam Singh, M S Randhawa of Council of Khalistan, Italy, Avtar Singh Sekhon of Khalistan Council, Canada etc. had held an anti India demonstration in front of office of UN.

Highly placed intelligence sources told TNN that CD's of Operation Bluestar, speeches of Khalistan vanguard Jarnail Singh Bhinderanwale were distributed among Sikh youth living in various countries - with an idea to motivate them for the Sikh cause. Some of the Sikh extremists living abroad were providing financial assistance for promoting their activities in Punjab.

Sharma said that various security agencies were keeping track of their communication, be it through mob

ile phones, internet or any other modern means of telecommunication. He asserted that police wouldn't let them organise.

Militancy will result in bloodshed and sufferings and outcome will be nothing else..............the sole purpose of khalsa should be to create a just society for all.......weather sikhs, hindus, muslims or anybody....................Creation of khalsistan will not assure that...... as we can not eliminate fightings and evils in our gurdwaras and revered places.. wacko.gif ....................

Lets create a just society...... a just society for all.....

That's the only way to rever the secrifice given by Guru Teg Bahadur ji...... ^_^ ......he did not do it for himself or the sikhs .........he did it for the whole society ....... :e:
