A friend who does kirtan mentioned this so I decided to look it up. Is it referring to the way all the "cool" people walk? All crooked? :D

bhagat kabeer ji used this as a play on words. meaning...

chalat kat tede tede tede - why is your chaal in life, path, bent? meaning, why dont u jup naam when all you are is a bag of bones etc..

in the same way "..bhagat bauhu doobai siaane". so in this phrase, "tede" is to do with not following the straight and narrow path / marag. (which is khaniyo tikhi vaalo niki.)

when bhagat kabeer is saying

when bhagat kabir says this, he is saying, because of your bent marag you are on, which is devoid of love, and filled with pointless kum cuz u think ur a big man doing importent things (when the only importent thing is to jup naam).

i now personally believe that to get through to the person, (because bani is personal to the reader), bhagat kabeer says becauseyour on the tede path, evenur pu has become tede (though no direct relation, its a funny coincidence that the pug is tede, as well as the guy on his tede path). this dont mean that u cannot have a tede pug, or dont mean that u can start calling ppl tee, or look down on ppl that have these tede traits.

we basically cant say to sum1, fix up. we aint guru G. if we hear our guru say "fix up", thats our guru saying that to us, personally. though this is one of bagat kaber jis 'eaisear' shabads to understand, its still bit long winded to grasp, because of its depth.

HENCE.. its not how people walk.. so i see it as, its ok to be tede, so to speak, but not tede in your life / marag (as this is the focal point of both sabads by bhagat kabeer.)

and "beere" is paan (betel nut that u put into a betel leaf). turns your mouth red wen u chew it..
