GuruFatehJi.

The question is age-old - Does God really exist? Either side of the discussion can neither be sufficiently proved nor disproved. Follow one such debate on the following link, and do join their discussion and let us give our feedback from the Sikh perspective.

This is an interesting opportunity to check how much of Gurbani we know and understand to defend our beliefs and principles, and provide our solid answers to those who still find them elusive.

Yes, Sikhs believe in the existence of God, but can we support our stand through Gurbani? Believe it, the answers are there - In Guru Granth Sahib Ji - all we need is a discussion like this to help us dive deep into the Wisdom of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

i tried to take part, yet cant find the link.

shehat app nu patha, that you if you have had darsan of bhai gurdas ji's vars, in books such as in search of the true guru by bhai rama singh ji, you may have come across this..

"if you take one step towards god, god will take a millions to welcome you"

i think thats the exact quote.

that is, if you do what bhaghat prahlad did

"har jug jug bhaghat upaia, bhaj rakada aya ramraje harnaksh dhust har marira, prahlad taria"

sorry for the mistakes. but basically, bhaghat prahlad was saved by the incarnation of vishnu (half man, half lion) he killed haranakash, his father who did not want him to jaap paath.

my philosiphy for this is that these people saying god does not exist, must have got their beliefs from elsewhere, other people. but have they actually made that true test and doing what bhaghat prahlad did? and all the other bhaghats did? which actuallu doing paath at first?

and if these scholars are so sure that god does not exist, have they studied all the granths of the world and have come to this as a conclusion?

explain to me lourdes? i know someone who did ardas at darbar sahib. full of excezma he was. on having the bath, he was cured. now can you say his excema just fell off (or another pathetic scientific view on why he was cured) or was this the power of god?

if these scholars have not studied the granths of the world, not taken part in religious discussion, but have based their facts on other peoples views. then why are we discussing this when only you can decide if god exists or not when you havent even made that step yet?

the spiritual jounrey starts on the ins

ide pehla. and then you can decide. you cant have others making it for you. if they have not stuied the granths of the world then whats the point in saying what they are saying?
