Terrible news. But....just 2 points : Firstly, That area is certainly not 'Thames Valley' and secondly a little factoid : Did you know the Russian word for railway station is named after that very railway station in London, Vauxhall ? Anyway, ain the 1800's the Tsar sent his envoy to London to study the railways has Russia wanted to build them too. The London Transport people took the Russian envoy to see Vauxhall station in between Waterloo and Brixton. The Russian envoy went back to Russia with plans to build a Russian railway and stuck with the name they found in London : Vaksal. Hence, the Russian word for railway is 'Vaksal'.
