In today's so-called DG the first chapter, the longest, comprising one third of the book, is devoted to the glory and greatness of Kal, emphasizing his destructive power and invincibility. At the outset the writer says that this is from the mouth of Patshahi 10 (Guru Gobind Singh) and then he invokes the blessing of sword (kharag) for the successful completion of the manuscript. It is replete with Hindu mythology. Most of the attributes ascribed to Kal are the attributes of God described in AGGS.

THis is complete bull. Need to understand there is no difference between akal and kal. A word has many meanings.so you have to interpret it per context of use.

Akal is specification of God and kal is its functional name. Read from dasam granth sahib about kal

ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾਇ ਭਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਸਿਵ ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾਇ ਭਯੋ ਜੁਗੀਆ ਹੈ ॥

काल ही पाइ भयो ब्रहमा सिव काल ही पाइ भयो जुगीआ है ॥

At the instance of KAL, Brahma appeared and also at the instance of KAL the Yogi Shiva appeared.

ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾਇ ਸੁਰਾਸੁਰ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਜੱਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਦਿਸਾ ਬਿਦਿਸਾ ਹੈ ॥

काल ही पाइ सुरासुर गंध्रब ज्छ भुजंग दिसा बिदिसा है ॥

At the instance of KAL, the gods, demons, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Bhujang, directions and indications have appeared.

ਔਰ ਸੁਕਾਲ ਸਭੈ ਬਸ ਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਕਾਲ ਅਕਾਲ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੪॥

और सुकाल सभै बस काल के एक ही काल अकाल सदा है ॥८४॥

All the other prevalent object are within KAL, only One supreme KAL is ever Timeless and eternal.84.

Bachitra natak, dasam granth

Now in the last line Kal has been described as time at one place and then akal purakh at second place.

Before indulging in propaganda and bitten by anti dasam phobia, you need to know that all hindu Granths start with invocation of ganesh or lakhshmi. but guru sahib has started Bachitra natak with invocation to sri sahib that smashes evil doers and bring relief to good people.

खग खंड बिहंडं खल दल खंडं अति रण मंडं बर बंडं ॥

The sword chops well, chops the forces of fools and this mighty one bedecks and glorifies the battlefield.

ਭੁਜ ਦੰਡ ਅਖੰਡੰ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡੰ ਜੋਤਿ ਅਮੰਡੰ ਭਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੰ ॥

भुज दंड अखंडं तेज प्रचंडं जोति अमंडं भान प्रभं ॥

It is the unbreakable staff of the arm, it has the powerful luster and its light even bedims the radiance of the sum.

ਸੁਖ ਸੰਤਾ ਕਰਣੰ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦਰਣੰ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰਣੰ ਅਸਿ ਸਰਣੰ ॥

सुख संता करणं दुरमति दरणं किलबिख हरणं असि सरणं ॥

It brings happiness to the saints, mashing the vicious ones, it is the destroyer of sins and I and under its refuge.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਜਗ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਬਾਰਣ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਣ ਜੈ ਤੇਗੰ ॥੨॥

जै जै जग कारण स्रिसटि उबारण मम प्रतिपारण जै तेगं ॥२॥

Hail, hail to the cause of the world, saviour of the universe, it is my preserver, I hail its victory. 2.

UK = Agreed Paji but I don't believe Sarbjit Singh Khalsa (Dhunda) or Panthpreet Singh Khalsa have rejected Sikhi in any way, shape or form. I truly believe that they want the Panth's Chardi Kallah. The fact that they emphasise that poisitive practical actions as the best way for our Qaum to defeat the drugs epidemic, the plague of female infanticide and upliftment of the Qaum on all other levels convinces me that they are committed to Sikhi 100%.

When they reject basics such as soul, reincarnation, naam simran, how can they tell sangat such things. drugs etc in punjab is a social problem and is confined to all faiths like sikhs, hindus etc.they are kathawachaks of Gurbani and not social workers of punjab govt.

UK = I completely disagree Paji. I genuinely believe that Sri Anandpur Sahib is more important to our Panth historically and in the present and for the future than Sri Hemkunt Sahib. It's vital for us to place the founding of the Khalsa Panth in prominence when we interpret history as opposed to the Mata Durga "Dusht Daman" stuff. Note Paji that the words Dusht Daman need not be said for the story to be told.

The writer of Bachittar Natak implies that Guru Nanak (Bedi) and the six Gurus (Sodhi), Ram Das to Gobind Singh became Gurus because their ancestors were very pious Hindus, who studied Vedas or were very generous to those who recited Vedas to them. In other words, it was due to the blessing earned through the study of Vedas or the donation of kingdom to the reciter of Vedas, which was responsible for the reward of Guruship. On the contrary, Guru Angad Dev and Guru Amar Das acquired Guruship after they gave up their Hindu faith and study of Vedas and other Hindu scriptures. No wonder, the writer does not mention their lineage or how did they earn the Guruship?

The writer does not appreciate that Guru sahibs were from that bans or dyansty. he never says that they were related.He writes that there were worldly kings like rama whose off springs fought over property and land and were decimated.in the end they were left with twenty villages only

then he describes house of Guru Nanak which preached and practices saintly teachings is still prospering. read it carefully before writing lies here.

The writer of Bachittar Natak does not know that belief in caste and lineage contradicts Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj’s own edict of Kul Nash (freedom from lineage) and the founding of the Khalsa Panth.

Nowhere writers writes that he was from lineage of luv kush.It is your assumption only.

. Moreover, Gurmat rejects the concept of reincarnation as interpreted in Manu Smriti.

Do not attach reincarnation with manu smriti as it amounts to talking about irelevants.REincarnation is part of sikh teachings and sggs endorses that. Now you are repeating dhundha words.Cite from SGGS rejecting reincarnation.

mOreover when you quote against established sikh teaching, quote whole shabad instaed of one liner.Do not intermingle vedas and Gurubani.Both are different religions.

The writer also does not say what happened to the ancestors of Gurus Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singh during the Duaper age when lord Krishna of the famous “Krishna Lila” was supreme. May be the writer does not like Sri Krishna because the he was a devotee of Shiv Ji.

The writer is Guru Gobind singh.it seems you are copy pasting from some site and has not even seen dasam granth sahib.there is very long composition in dasam granth called krishna avtar.pl take time to look at contents of dasam granth first.

In the sixth chapter in "his own story" the writer talks about his previous life and his communication with God. “I was meditating on Mahankal (Shiv Ji) and Kalika (goddess) on a snowy mountain called Hem Kunt while my parents were praying to Alakh (Formless, God) and perfecting their Yogic discipline. When God was pleased with them, He ordered me to take birth in the age of Kaljug. I did not want to come to the world; however, God persuaded me by expressing His helplessness and frustration. “Whatever I have created and whosoever I have sent to the world so far, did not bring Me glory. Son, all my hopes are on you, go there, straighten out the world and spread My glory.” After this God narrated the story of creation: “After creating the world, I created the demons, who turned out to be unfaithful. These tyrants stopped My worship. So I got angry at the demons and destroyed them in a moment and replaced them with Shiv Ji, Vishnu, and Brahma. They too turned out to be untrustworthy; as they refused to recognize Me and instead proclaimed themselves to be God. Then I created eight witnesses to monitor the actions of living beings. But they too proclaimed that there is no one else other than them worthy of worship. Instead of worshiping Me, stupid people started worshiping gods, sun, moon, air, and fire. Many of them started worshiping stones and performing rituals. Then I created human beings, who got enchanted by the material world (maya) and started worshiping idols.”

Here mahakal is reference to God and kal ka are two words means mahakal who is controller of kal.

SGGS mentions mahakal also.will you start criticizing it also.

ਜਪਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਲਾਲੁ॥ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿ

ਤੂ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਨ ਖਾਈ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲੁ॥1॥ 885॥

“My own story” raises questions that defy commonsense and repudiate the teachings of AGGS. How could anybody survive up on a snowy mountain in that severe cold weather sitting in meditating posture for a very long time as the writer of the story claims to have done? Moreover, the type of mediation described in “my own story” is rejected by Gurmat. It has no spiritual merit whatsoever.

He had merged with God.It is written there. hence such souls can survive anywhere.He was not like you and me. Do not consider gurus to your elvel.

Conclusion

The author(s) of spurious parts of the Bachittar Natak was grossly ignorant of Gurmat and Sikh history. The Mughals purpose in those parts was to subvert Sikhism for anti-Sikh forces by subliminally denigrating Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. These clearly Mughal paid scribes were quite successful in misleading gullible but sincere Sikhs. For anyone to suggest that Bachittar Natak is a 100% authentic autobiography of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is an affront to common sense and insult to Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj as the father of the Khalsa Panth and an unabashed repudiation of Gurmat - just as anti-Sikh forces like the Mughals and elite Hindu's would hae wished.

Bachitra Natak also describes wars that guru ji fought with hindu hill rajas and moghals such as battle of bhangani.did not you see that.in battle of bhangani Guru ji was struck with an arrow of Raja hari chand and it touched his kamarkassa.that is still in toshakhana in maharaja of patiala.

You are writing that writer of bachitra natak takes pride from being family of King Ram.That i have proved to be a big lie. Now i give you quotes from bachitra natak ( just a few, there are many more) what writer thought of these deities.

जिते राम से क्रिसन हुइ बिसन आए ॥ तितिओ काल खापिओ न ते काल घाए ॥२८॥

All the incarnations of Vishnu like Rama and Krishan were destroyed by KAL, but they could not destroy him. 28.

ਜਿਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਹੂਏ ॥ ਸਭੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਮੂਏ ॥

जिते राम हूए ॥ सभै अंति मूए ॥

All the Ramas who incarnated, ultimately passed away.

ਜਿਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈਂ ॥ ਸਭੈ ਅੰਤਿ ਜੈ ਹੈਂ ॥੭੦॥

जिते क्रिसन ह्वै हैं ॥ सभै अंति जै हैं ॥७०॥

All the Krishnas, who had incarnated, have all passed away.70.

Do not call sri dasam Granth sahib as so called dasam granth. have some respect for granth of khalsa.

You reject reincarnation.Here you are condemning teachings of SGGS ji. So you are a critic of sGGS also that says positively that reincarnation is there. Can you or you teacher dhundha/panthpeet debate here with us in a separate topic on reincarnation as it

Without Shabad-Surti, one comes and goes; he loses his honor in this coming and going (sggs 1031)
