If you talk about God, religion, pray, discuss about pray - irrespective of if you are christian, sikh, hindu, mussulman, jew, jain (Except Buddhist). You are frowned upon and the general impression is that you are a fanatic, traditional etc. Science has over-powered religion and its all about what the "mind" feels is right and wrong. There are continual debates over "this right" v/s "that right" and it never seems to end. "Is it okay to walk on the street naked or not?" - just an example. Is this the sign of Kal Yug. I also heard that as time progress Kal Yug, will turn into Maha-Kal Yug where new religions will be created in one day and extinct the other day. People will get more and more and more confused. Thoughts, Opinions? -

This thread is going towards an interesting direction. Initially I was very interested in ZEN Buddhism. I don't know have much knowledge, but they do omit Waheguru... not only Waheguru --- but they go beyond that and Omit Devotion 'Bhakti' al together. They think life is all about sitting cross legged in a meditation and observing your thoughts? Opinions? Why wasn't the Buddha mentioned in Gurbani? -

This post seems to be going towards an interesting direction. I have a few questions which always kept me curious. 1) In Ramayan / Mahabartha, if you grew up watching those in your childhood. You see many yodhas (warrior) who can bring down rain, thunder and other kinds of karamaati weapons with their teers, is this possible? is this ridhis sides? 2) In Gatka, if you watch closely you can see the sword being swung at lightning speed. It almost looks like Bruce Lee's martial art. It just looks impossible how you could defeat a gatka fighter with the sword coming at you such dramatic speeds.
