Kharku Jathebandi's - Any Idea On How Many Singhs Fought?

If you look at any rebel, militant or even terrorist group - there is always an estimate given in terms of how many fighters they have.

But when it comes to the armed sangarsh, there doesn't appear to be a breakdown in the numerical strength of Kharku Jathebandi's anywhere.

Is there a reference out there or does anyone know about how many Singhs joined each group, especially during the height of the movement.?

It would be useful for all to know, especially as the period between 1984 and 1995 forms a key part of our history!
