Harmandi Sahib, Darbar Sahib, Golden Temple

Wat the right name, is it Harmandir Sahib, Darbar Sahib, Chuk ramdass,

Its not golden Temple, i know that, I always say Darbar Sahib, how did Harimandir come about then, and i was recently told it may have been called Chuk Ramdass.

The right names are Harimandir Sahib(Temple of Hari/Lord) and Darbar Sahib(Divine Court).

Chak Ramdas or Guru-ka-Chak refers to the city of Amritsar.

Golden temple is just a word brought up by westerners.

where the meaning says temple, temple refers to place where idols, etc are worshed, like hindu mandir.

That's why it is Harimandir. Hari = God. So, it is God's temple. no idols.

imho it is NOT Hari-mandir but HAR (siharee) mandir... as in

IF we read these SLOKS by GURU AMARDASS JI, we will realise they refer not to a stone temple.mandir..BUT to the HUMAN BODY. This Human body is the REAL mandir of The LORD and the meanings given make this amply clear.

NO where in GURBANI does the word Har(siharee) Mandir refer to a physical building. At the time Guur amardass Ji wrote the above shabads..the Amrtisar harmandir darbar had not even been constructed.
