Back in the old Puratan Days, life was simple.

People used to go to sleep at sunset, so around 7PM to 8PM.  This allowed them to wake up early.

Also, the body has an internal clock, people will always wake up at a certain time. For example, my clock is set at waking up around 7AM, which really is a pain when trying to wake up 4AM for Amritvela.

I recommend you use http://sleepcalculator.com, it has really helped me wake up at Amritvela.

But that was in the olden days, ever since lights and phones and been made, we have been sleeping late. I put this here simply to tell people this, because some people are interested in HOW things work, they don't say "ok good it works now I can go", they say "how does this work tell me then I will leave". Which is why I put it here.
