Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa!

Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

..u know how Guru Nanak Dev Jee visited the mosque and dat sakhi....the part where im confused at is wen Guru nanak dev jee says place my feet where there is no god. i was juz wondering.. then how come wen we go to the gurudwara we dunt face our back to the Guru Grnth Sahib jee but we do everywhere else.

so wuts the reason for facing back and all that cuz god is everywhere. does it really matter????

maaf karna jee

its about being practical, if god is everywhere, there is no way u cannot face ur feet 2 him. so thats point less.

but with siri guru granth sahib ji, he is a physical ruler, king, guru, yo would'nt turn ur back on guru gobind singh ji, or guru amardas ji, so why would u sit faced with ur back 2 guru sahib.

hey dunno if this helps!

but yes im formilia with wot u saying as wen guru nanak ji went 2 visit the mosquew he was tired and went to sleep in a forest he had his feet facing the mosque, the wacthman comes and shouts at guru ji sayin how dare you place your feet towards god, guru ji's reply to this was you place my feet wherever god is not!

But it is respectful to face the guru granth sahib ji as the guru granth sahib ji is there infront of us.

The Reason we don't face our back to sggsj is because he/she is the king and we are present in his/her hazoori. We are in the darbar of guru sahib jee and it's not like everyday happening for most of us. Not only facing back is considered to be bad, but also lots of other things like talking, chewing gum and so on..

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa,

Waheguru ji ki Fateh !

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is like Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji sitting there on His seat so why would we turn our back towards Guru Nanak after goin to his home.... rolleyes.gif

Well, we should also not speak faltu gallan and try to discipline children too in the Gurdwara Sahib....they are the future of Sikhi ^_^

The more respect we will show towards Guru Nanak Ji, the more will we be blessed and He will also bless us with NAAM daan ... ^_^

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa,

Waheguru ji ki Fateh !
