dont worry bro, it makes sense.

raw vegetables are hard and need to be softened so its logical for the body to break it down.

depending on quantity and type, the process would utilise a lot of resources i.e. blood, to fuel it. 

its like a eating a huge meal - you always feel tired for the same reason....
