A name is important, it is a constant reminder of your background and culture. It's a big part of your identity. This is something even more important when you are a minority.
Why do you think Goreh Sikhs change their names when they convert?
There are plenty of short Indian names out there. At my school there was a girl called Kulwinderjit and the teachers could say it without much hassle.
If people can say Tchaikovsky, they can say Kuljeet.
We're nothing like them, bro. To compare us to them is an insult to us. Our religion's dharmic roots are unquestionably sublime. They, as many are coming to suspect, are silent worshippers of Lucifer (the fallen angel), and not the "God" humanity assumes is the Oneness that created everything. But I'm not going into that here.
How ethnic minorities are being blamed for breaking rules and spreading the virus reminds me of a movie! Think it was called something like children of men. The movie was set in the UK and a massive virus has spread and the authorities are rounding all refugees/migrants up and making them live in ghettos surrounded by barbed wire.
Yeah I know its just a movie but you never know what these people will do lol!
