University of Leicester Sikh Society will be holding a presentation about SIKH WOMEN.

This is in conjunction with various remembrance days for prominent Sikh Women but also to celebrate 'International Women's Day'. The presentation will focus on prominent Sikh women and focus on the role of women in Sikhism.

This presentation is welcome to all.

It is taking place on Wednesday 9th March 2005 from 6pm in Bennett Lecture Theatre 2.

The Biring Sisters are some of THE most Chardi Kala penji's EVER! Everyone should try and attend - cos these penji's are just amazing.

They have soo much knowledge, so much piyaar and they carry Guru Sahibs roop so amazingly they're so inspiring.

Gotta hand it to Leics Uni - the sevadaars have covered some brilliant topics of late.

I realized tuesday is international women's day and it's good to know sikh women of the panth are being commemorated for their kurbaniya.. they deserve to have lots of conferences & programs done in their memory :cool:
