Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh Inflamed Oh bright burning candle just for Thy sight This night-winged creature has taken to flight Wings whispering Thy fanning flame excite This tongue Thy emanating name recite While encircling Thee in honored rite Pledging to ardent troth her fervent plight Kindling arousal to tempting incite Consorting with Thee attempting this night Inflamed on Thy glowing wick to alight Extinguishing herself she doth ignite Self immolating in raptured delight Embracing the glory seen in Thine light Splendorous extinction's flickering height The Impassioned union of wedded right waheguru ji

ANG 527 OF GURU GRANTH SAHIB JE MAHARAJ Shabad Link DAYV-GANDHAAREE: Tell me - on what path will I find my Beauteous Lord? O Saints of the Lord, show me the Way, and I shall follow. ||1||Pause|| I cherish in my heart the Words of my Beloved; this is the best way. The bride may be hunch-backed and short, but if she is loved by her Lord Master, she becomes beautiful, and she melts in the Lord's embrace. ||1|| There is only the One Beloved - we are all soul-brides of our Husband Lord. She who is pleasing to her Husband Lord is good. What can poor, helpless Nanak do? As it pleases the Lord, so does he walk. ||2||2||

A Wake-up Call Kanwarjit Singh For if you keep on sleeping, You will never stop weeping, It is already much too late, For you to further sit and wait. Your religion is being hijacked, Your very ethos is being attacked, You will remain just a pawn, If wisdom, on you, does not dawn. Your image has been battered, Your prestige has been shattered, Where once you were addressed with respect, You are now branded - a terrorist. Sikhs are a successful community, But have failed to promote their unity. Today they are without direction, Which needs a lot of introspection. Look at the plight of Sikhs today, Oh! Look at the price they pay, The price of Disunity an…

This poem is for few of those Hindus who have completely forgotten the unparallel sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib For you He left His family, His son, His wife For you He didn’t hesitate to sacrifice His life For you He courted arrest, and suffered all tortures To fill your life with the roses of happiness, and joy filled orchards For you He saw His Sikhs sawn and boiled The hands of the Mughals with blood were soiled For you He refused all pleasures and comforts And accepted the pains that can shake all hearts For you He rejected proposals of wealth So that your generations could thrive in health For you…

My sword is my companion my warrior and friend, Not to be offensive but sworn to defend, The infusion of steel runs through my veins, Making me immune from sorrow and pain, The flash of my Guru’s sword awakens the sleeping soul, Without the sword I can never be whole, The sword of the Guru is the giver of life, Before the soul was barren now it is ripe, I am the saint and the soldier that walks in peace, I am the humble dust of your feet, But don’t think my spirituality makes me weak, The heavens will roar if my sword were to speak

Its slightly long one ... But definitely worth the read .. "Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand. "You're a Christian, aren't you, son?" "Yes sir," the student says. "So you believe in God?" "Absolutely." "Is God good?" "Sure! God's good." "Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?" "Yes." "Are you good or evil?" "The Bible says I'm evil." The professor grins knowingly. "Aha! The Bible!" He considers for a moment 'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. you can do it. Would you help …
