i was wondering for the people who know more....cuz i don't know too much about khalistan ideas....but what are we supposed to do about gurdwaras like Nankana sahib, Panja sahib, sis ganj sahib, rakab ganj sahib, patna sahib, hazur sahib?... would those still be under indian/pakistanian government control? if so, wouldn't that not be ideal????? and in that case wouldnt it make sense for us not to concentrate on a physical khalistan in the north of india but rather work to take top positions in india...sort of making the whole country khalistan...that way we could take control as a quam of our gurdwaras....just some thought...

Gurfateh, I’m noticed on many web sites mainly used to introduce Sikh to the west are using many references to “its ok for Sikhs to eat Jhatka Meat". and now on message broads ( BBC) many hindus are attacking this idea. i know that it is wrong but there are not quote that i can find in the SGGS ji. i think it is important that Gursikhs try to stop this because these web sites( sikhs.org and bbc.co.uk) are used by teaches in schools to educate kids in schools. eg i found this on the sikh.org site. Jhatka Meat Meat of an animal which has been killed quickly with one stroke. Guru Gobind Singh dictated that Sikhs can eat jhatka meat of any animal but cannot eat Musli…

http://www.southasianmedia.net/cnn.cfm?id=...e&Country=INDIA A daring, moving work Thursday, January 06,2005 NEW DELHI: Shonali Bose's Amu is one of the most significant films to come out of India in years. Rarely have we seen a recent Indian film that is so daring, weaving in big political, feminist themes with such sophistication. Yet it is a film that we will long remember precisely because all of these are subsumed under a moving, emotional mother-daughter tale. It is told with an integrity that shoots straight through the heart. How ironic then, that this debut film has been made by a U.S.-based non-resident Indian. Amu is set against the backdrop of the horr…
