Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh I was at school today when i heard that a sikh girl had just run away from her home to be with her boyfreind. This really upset me. but on top of that i heard a muslim girl say 'sikhs don't discipline their children, they're all the same' i obviously confronted her with the comment, and told what she needed to hear! But i wanted to know what everyone thinks: Do all sikhs get the blame if something like this happens? Does all of the society suffer when only one Sikh does something their not supposed to? Are we al responsible for one Sikh's wrong doing? As alot of people say it is bestii and embarrasment to our religion, so …

I think this is a very good concept which i recently have been keeping in mind. I just have a little question I was curious about. Does the SGGS say anything about having sex for pleasure or is there only one specific purpose of it?

WJKK WJKF Damdami Taksal has celebrated shaheedi purab (Chabeel) on 4th jun. they dont agree with nanakshahi calender. They said they will go by old calender. they are right also, because guru gobind singh ji also used to celebrate purabs with old calender,if necessary he would have made new calender for sikhs, our satguru,s wrote guru granth sahib, barah maha, they made khalsa panth, making new calender was not a hard thing for them if they felt necessary. can i have your opinion please. if u agree will u please explain why. thanx

Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Recently, I came to know that Dam Dammi Taksaal is also a autority in Sikhism. As far as, it goes to history there was official autority had given to DAM DAMMI TAKSAAL to have rehat maryada or autority within Sikhism. Dam Dammi Taksal's sole purpose was to teach correct pronunciation of Gurbani and there is no doubt that they are good at it. Now, howcome it became autority, and so many members of Taksal take it as Akal Thakat. Anyone wants to enlighten me?

extracted from Divine Mystic Reflections on Gurmat (www.sikhnation.com) COMPLETE AND INCOMPLETE HUMAN BEING There are two distinct types of human beings : the incomplete, and the complete (puran). The majority fall in the first group. The Puranpurush (complete being) are very few and can sometimes, be counted on the fingers of one's hand. The aim of Gurmat is to make us puran, and the way to achieve this aim is known as Panth. Panth is not a name given to a clan or religion. There are already many religions in the world. By reading Gurbani with understanding, you will come to know that Guru Nanak Dev Ji did not start a new religion. The same is true in the case of …

The Great Deception Randhir Singh http://sikhsentinel.com/sikhsentinel0306/o...atdeception.htm "To acknowledge the amrit of the iron bowl and the double-edged sword, as means to become the Guru's Sikh, is a grave mistake" Gurbux.Singh (aka Kala Afghana), Bipran Ki Reet (Volume 6 - page 35) "The requirement of Amrit Sanchar (a baptism-like ceremony involving an iron-bowl and with a double-edged sword) to become a true Sikh has discouraged the youth from becoming and staying Sikhs, and thus has encouraged them to become apostate and renegade [1]," writes Gurbux Singh. It is also his contention that "from the beginning of the fifteenth century to 1850, unshorn hair was…

vaaheguru ji ka khalsa vaaheguru ji ki fateh I think it will be beneficial for our Panth if we discuss the term 'Sehajdhari' explicitly here. Many of us say those from other faiths are Sehajdhari where as many even mistake those with hair cut (mone) as Sehajdharis. What really constitutes a Sehajdhari? Please give your definitions here so we can all learn. This is what Bhai Chuapa Singh Ji writes about a Sehajdhari in his Tankhahnaama: This makes it very clear that all Sehajdharis HAVE to keep their hair uncut. What do others think about this? vaaheguru ji ka khalsa vaaheguru ji ki fateh
