If I lied in an interview ie not make up something completely but they asked me about someone's response to a task I was involved in and I said the first thing which came to my head (could have even been true but I don't remember properly) does it mean I won't be earning honestly? It's only a volunteering job but could possibly affect my chances in the future and so pretty much my whole life to a small extent. Is it okay to just to ardaas or just I refuse the offer?

WJKK WJKF I am already engaged but I am taking amrit before my wedding next spring, my spouse will take amrit later as she is not at the this stage yet. My question is can we eat eachothers Jhoot once we are married (after Anand Karaj in front of SGGS)? Not asking if we can get married, just asking if we can eat each others jhoot... cuz punjabi culture has wedding ceremonies were couple eats in same plate... Gurfateh saadh sangat ji Daas would like to find out it there is any Gurmat Sangeet tuition in East London (Ilford and surrounding areas), I know about raj academy but they are more into official courses for getting qualifications which is not what i am after. I don't mind private or in groups, and am a total beginner. I am looking to learn dilruba (which i own), preferrably with vocal (i.e. shabads). So as I have stated in the past I am a Hispanic Sikh. Yesterday I encountered an obstacle I wasn't expecting. They don't want me to wear a turban just yet. My parents are seriously worried that a. Wearing a Turban, becoming a Gursikh i optional b. living in the States with a turban can be dangerous and c. that I have jumped too quick on Sikhi and should learn more before wearing a turban. WJKKWJKF i have 2 questions i am itching to get the answer to..... What is the deal with sarabloh kare and utensils? What is so special about sarab loh metal for gursikhs, why is it seen as pure? During the dawn services at Shiri Harmandr Sahib when they bring in babaji, they keep wiping babji with white rolled towel of some kind. With so much care they continue to wipe the sides and rumale with this special white roll. I am guessing it is a form of isnaan to babaji but can someone tell what it is and why they are so meticulous about wiping everywhere? Does it have some kind of special chemical?

Sangat ji, When I started doing Sukhmani Sahib it would take me almost 1 hour and 40 minutes to do one paath. Slowly, the time decreased to 1 hour then 40 minutes and now I can do one path in 35 minutes. Hence, I try to do 3-5 Sukhmani Sahib in one sitting. Is that ok? Or I should do one paath in 1 hour or more and hence do less path. When I try to make myself take more time to do one path...i realize that my mind wanders more and i am not able to concentrate on the other hand when i do path quickly..sentences that i didnt understand before become more clear and stand out more. Please let me know if its ok to do paath quickly or to do it slowly.

Fateh Ji Can someone please help me out because i feel like im going crazy. I feel so so paranoid when i go outside. Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
