Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I was hoping I could receive some help for a problem I've been having for a while now.. I was fortunate enough to take Amrit a couple of months ago and I had been wanting to for a year or so. However since a couple of weeks, everytime I try to do Simran or read Gurbani, my mann keeps coming up with things like "Does God even exist?" "Why am I doing this?" and it's gotten really bad. At first I ignored it, then it got worse, I tried to explain using the science argument but it still kept talking. Then I explained that everything about Sikhi proves it. Then it kept saying "What if none of that is real?" which is pretty dumb be…

Is this common between us that when a singni wears western clothes the singhniyaa in bana look down upon you. This always happens to me. What is the problem if you are covered up and not displaying any flesh then that is fine in my opinion. Why isn't this fully accepted-after all we live in thee western world and our religion in sikh. We say and preach that culture and religion are different so why am I targeted as my clothes do not influence or affect my rehat. So it is wrong to wear skinny jeans but guys can wear shorts. They can wear sleeveless vests with kirpans underneath and round dastaara but girls cannot wear anything buit traditional suits...It does not have any …

Sat Shri Akal Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh I have seen that in some Non-Punjab States there has been a major problem for Sikhs of learning Turban (Dastar) perfect Turban and they wear Patka's which is meant for Sikh Kids....I have visited Delhi some years ago and I watched that no one was much passionate in wearing Beautiful Dastar But what amazed me was that they are atleast Sabat Soorat Sikhs and don't consider much Fashion or appearance things....But the thing that pinches me is that why some of our expert Punjabi Sikh Brothers don't bother to open Turban Training Centres in Haryana (2nd majority Sikh Place in India) Rajasthan (3rd Majority Sikh Place a…

The greatest love story ever written
by Guest Guest- 4 replies

If you wish to know of the greatest love story ever written, look no further than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. You will only find one type of love accounted for in this wondrous Saroop, the account of Unconditional Love. This Unconditional Love caused the 1st Guru of the Sikhs to journey over 1000KM by foot to spread the ethos of Unconditional Love. This Unconditional Love caused a great martyr who was put under horrendous torture of sitting on hot plates and have boiling hot sand poured over them to utter “Tera Kiya Mitha Lage” - Your actions seem so sweet to me. This Unconditional Love allowed a father to sacrifice his mother, his father and his fou…

Sat Shri Akal G!!Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh WHat is the Sikh perspective on Hijra (Transgender) who has no Gender neither male nor female. In Many of the religions Hijra's are highly respected.....How Sikhs should treat if some one is a Hijra??Is there anything written in Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji about this belief??Because in many of religions Hijra word is mentioned??Or in dasam granth In Hinduism In some versions of the Ramayana when Rama leaves Ayodhya for his 14-year exile, a crowd of his subjects follow him into the forest because of their devotion to him. Soon Rama notices this, and gathers them to tell them not to mourn, and that all the "men and…

I would like to point out very politely and give Sikh Stuff website an opportunity to 'fix' this problem: http://sikhstuff.com/product.php?id_product=38 PLEASE don't put Satguru in 'boxes' - Gutke Sahibs/Pothian Sahibs should NEVER be in such conditions - no matter 'HOW' nice the box looks - our Guru Ji are hajar najar. PLEASE remove such item from you beautiful website and NEVER sell such a item. Dassan Daas,
