Is there anyone here who learnt to write punjabi on thier own ?

I was wondering is there anyone here who learnt to write punjabi on their own. I can read and speak well but can't write. I don't have a punjabi teacher. When I was a kid I used to go to punjabi class, but as an adult its hard to learn because you just don't know how to compared to my brothers who are coming from punjab. Like what type of exercises, stuff do you do. In the west punjabi is not a school subject. Please don't be generic. If there is anyone with experience that would be wonderful.

I recently got a watch which is a leather fabric one, but when ever I wear the watch I get that feeling that my kesh are getting oulled from my wrist knowinh that my kesh get pulled when I wear the watch, will I have to pesh for wearing the watch and for future reference should I ever wear a watch?

Ich habe eine Frage! Ich habe mich ein wenig mit der Lehre der Sikhs befasst und festgestellt,dass die Erfahrung die Guru Nanak gemacht hat in etwa identisch sind mit meiner eigenen. Ich vergleiche die Religionen der Welt und stelle fest dass alle Gottesbeschreibungen immer den einen Einzigen immer gleichen Gott beschreiben,und dass alle Religionen das gleiche wollen und auch ich habe versucht zwischen den Religionen zu vermitteln und wurde von allen zurück gewiesen und letztlich habe ich mir meine eigene Religion „ gemacht“ die es aber bereits in Indien gibt,und sich sikhismus nennt. Nowadays i hear people say we have a job, a house, family and a car. That's all we need we are happy. But Guru Jee says still we can't be happy with all those comforts and luxuries. Benti to sangat to do ardaas for Rajinder Singh Leicester. He's been diagnosed with lymphoma and cannot start chemotherapy until he stabilised but doctors are concerned he may not survive the next few days. He is a prime example of a gursikh with so much potential but was lost to the panj chore and hopefully the sangat can give him a chance to correct all this. Thank you.

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it.

Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
