I am a young sikh who goes to school. I'm vegetarion, and i don't cut my hair. All the kids at school ask me "Why don't you cut ur hair?" I ask them "Why do you cut urs??" they just say,"Who doesn't." I say "Well, why should I, God made me this way and i shouldn't change my appearance. I will stay the way God made me." and then they say, "Why do you wear clothes, God made you born with know clothes so why do you change your appearance and wear clothes?" At this point i have no idea what to say. What should i say to this? Another thing is when they say "You don't cut ur hair beacuse god made you the way he wanted to be, so then why do you cut your nails?" Now what do i say…

this may be a silly question but i guess im just curious, i was just wonderig why the word 'vaheguru' doesn't come up that much in sri guru granth sahib ji mahraj, i did a search online and there the word vaheguru is not mentioned a lot, where as words like raam are mentioned alot, this amde me curious and my question is which guru introduced this word and why do we do vaheguru japna instead of any other name for god (i know you can also use another name for god to do simran but im just curious as to why we do waheguru simran most of the time) i know this may be a stupid question and forgive me if ive said anything wrong, thank you wjkk wjkf

I Might be moving to Vancouver so I was just wandering where most of the sikhs live there. I am gonna be in high school there so will I get bullied because i am a sikh? most of the students there are white and chinese will I be the only sikh? Everyone says there are lots of sikhs in vancouver but whenever I go i dont see any. I will probally be in east vancouver, are there sikhs who live there, if there are are they youth or elderly because im worried that i'll get bullied for being the only sikh. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
