Hello to everyone, I am new here, and decided to ask for your help. I am a white woman, involved with a Sikh man. I've met him in India, since he was my driver 4 years ago. In the begining everything was fine. I moved to India to be with this man. I've met his family, he is one of 3 brothers, these people ( 4 adults and 4 kids) are very nice, they treat me like a family member, we see each other almost every day, I love them with all my heart. Unfortunately I have a few issues with the "driver". My family are not really supportive and still eat meat. I’m flying to Punjab tomorrow and although Birmingham airport does allow a kirpan less than 6 cm I have to stop at Ashgabat and I don’t want any problems there. A Singh told me if I’m without my kirpan I cannot eat any food, is this true and are there any other requirements?

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
