As a Sikh can understand if this question angers you, and I do not want to cause any disrespect to anyone or their ideals. That being said however, as I have grown and developed my own understanding of Sikhism, and tried to embrace its principles, I can't find a good answer to this question. For the sake of complete clarity, the reason I am asking these questions is because I am thinking of cutting my hair, and would like to know if there is any reason to keep it. If the reason is because "god" wants us to do so, well that seems very contradictory to Sikhism and its definition of god. Sat sri akal too all ok so im from birmingham uk and to cut a long story short i was invited to a family akhand paath at the gurdwara. I attended and all went well, until the dvd came. WJKK WJKF Ok this may sound silly but I want to know if that has a meaning. So I went to the Gudwara like I try to do everyday in the morning, and I had me banana with me in my pocket as a snack for work . I thought id leave it in the car, as I didn’t want to bring it in the Gurdwara, partly because I feel I should offer it, and partly because I feel it was a banana and it was almost like joot so didn’t want to bring it in. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
