Writer Harjinder Dilgeer, who last year wrote the anti-panthic book called Sikh Twareekh is at it again. This time he has written a book called "Nitnem- Guru Granth Sahib ji de pehla 13 Ang." In this book Dilgeer claims that the daily Nitnem of a Sikh is only in the first 13 Angs of Maharaj and nothing else. This means only Jap Ji Sahib, Sodar - the evening prayer and Sohela - the bedtime prayer are part of the Nitnem. By his non-sense theory, No Jaap Sahib, No Tav-Prasad Savaiye, No Chaupai Sahib and No Anand Sahib are included in his version of the Nitnem. He has dedicated this book to his mother who passed away last year and he describes as his Sikh role model. More…

Quite a good documentary, especially the first episode which is about NDE and the last episode which is about reincarnation. Episode 3&4 are a bit odd. Their about ""mediums" people who give you information about your dead relative by communicating with them. Worth a watch if you have Netflix.

Former Punjab Minister and MLA Bikram Singh Majithia recently came down heavily on All-India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and former Punjab Chief Minister Capt. AMRITSAR: Blaming the hierarchy of Punjab police for raising the bogey of militancy, two Sikh groups namely the Khalsa Action Committee (KAC) and the Dal Khalsa cautioned the political leadership not to get misled by such stories that have no authenticity. In a statement KAC chairman Bhai Mohkam Singh and Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwarpal Singh said the stories of “revival of militancy” attributed to some isolated incidents were clearly aimed to create fear psychosis in the minds of political leaders and general masses. “If at all there was unsuccessful attempt on the life of Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal by anyone, it’s a serious matter and must be probed thoroughly”…
