Gurfateah , As u can see this academy is really importanted to the kids , as paji has just told us . I myself , are one of the kids who come to the academy . At school lesson 5 , im always so excited and cant wait to get to the academy . Thiers something inside me that tells me i have to go ! And when the bell goes i just feel like screaming WAHEGuRU !! Beacuse im just so happy . I see kids coming straight after school and im like " how amazing is this , this is how much love they have for the academy !! I was at the academy last night for the self defence class and as usual the place was alive and buzzing because of all the young Singhs and Singhnia (most of whom had come straight to the academy after school). Before the self defence class started a few Singhs like myself who are in our 20's were sitting with the head granthi and the santhia teacher in darbar sahib listening to katha by Giani Thakur Singh Ji on Rehras Sahib. A few young Singhs in their teens were also sitting with us and listening and anything we did not understand the head granthi explained to us. Some Singhs were sitting and reciting Rehras Sahib, some kids were doing santhia and some were in the computer room getting help with their school homework. As all of this was going on more and more kids were turning up. The head granthi then recited Sri Rehras Sahib Ji and anyone who had not recited it already or listened to it was told to sit and listen in darbar sahib whilst those who had already were told to go do santhia in the computer room or start their school homework. Everybody then took part in the self defence class, with Singhs and Singhnia aged from 5yrs old up to those in their 20's all taking part. Everybody then participated in sukhasan seva and accompanied Maharaj Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji up to sachkand. All sangat then sat and had langar togther. By now it had gone 9 o clock and everybody started to make their way home. Now I ask all the sangat that are reading does the above happen at your local Gurdwara even once a week let alone EVERY single day like it does at the academy??? Personally I don't even think EDL has any 'cause'. Firstly, they blindly support British troops, who themselves just go where they are told and follow orders, regardless of the justice of the cause or not. I'm not saying all Muslims are angels, because they are not, but we should all know that soldiers have committed abuses on Muslim lands (especially American ones) and the recent invasions has resulted in far more deaths of innocent Muslims (including women and children) than British soldiers. So I'm not at all surprised that sullay protest against the soldiers and call them names. If the British soldiers were on Sikh land doing similar, I'd be protesting against them myself probably. Then you have that whole bull narrative by some ignorant whites here that their 'culture' is somehow under attack? This one is plain lies. No one stops white people drinking, 'shagging' around, learning the English language, cooking and eating English food, going to pubs, Morris dancing etc. So how is their 'culture' under attack? With grooming, we need to grasp that it is elements of the Pakistani community who have been targeting dimwitted Sikhs girls for this, not the ubiquitous 'Islam'. No sane intelligent Sikh has any business to be in the middle of such nonsense in my opinion. If EDL want to protest, let them protest against their own government's warmongering first and foremost. But they wont, because they are mainly working class chavs who haven't got the balls to face their ruling classes. As for the problem of idiotic, naive, lust ridden, disloyal girls from Sikh backgrounds being groomed or converted. That is something the panth has to figure out how to resolve itself. My own opinon is everything has jiv (life) we need as jiv (atma) ourselves need jiv to live. However we have to pay in karam for taking such greater jiv- The soul evolves from minerals into plants then into animals then to human form it take 8.4 lifes to get to this one and we pay higher for higher forms of life. The greatest bhagats eat little sleep little and talk little because each one takes more karam and that price that needs to be payed in our own bhagati effects the bhagti itself. The more simran, sewa and satsangat and naam that flows from nitnem and Sikhi alone through spirtual contemplation helps to attain mukhti but if we eat mass and eggs for instance they require much much more bhagti. The primary reason many people do not eat it, is because they are given rehat by panj pyare not to. However maharaj says only fools argue about not to eat meat they do not cotemplate spirtual contemplation. So keep doing your simran keep doing naamjapna. Avoid eating egg for your bhagti. We have to thank god for everything we take even swas we breath.

Also the admin at the time said they didn’t want any so called ‘edl’ propaganda so were deleting everything. Recently A post was made about how edl members got a fb group comparing the darstar of the Sikhs with bin ladin shut down- not Sikhs, but gorai, and the admin shut that post down. Thus I get the impression that any1 with any link to the edl is not welcome to this ‘SANGAT’. However, I will post again. 1)Where are the statements from these so called sikh orgs condemning grooming by Pakistani groups not just to sikh girls but all girls in England.
