The Sikh community needs to get its own house in order. at the end of the day Pakistani people cant be blamed. if the girl is openly going with the muslim. then these things will happen. it seems like an assualt case. obviosuly in cases where it is a random attack then this is another matter. If you dont keep tabs on your own kids then this is what happens. especially if there is no elder sibling in the household. todays generations of girls dont listen to their parents. unfortunatley theres alot of weak sikh parents who are unable to control their daughters but they are not all to blame. These girls are completely deluded and are thinking they are in some muslim gang. but what happenes is the gang will inevitable turn on you. Why waste our time on these girls?? lets just do the best we can and forget about these dimwitted people.

Blaming it all on the government is lame and totally disempowers us from making change for the better. Panjabis themselves have as much a hand in this situation as anyone else. Apnay drink like fish outside of Panjab, so blaming the government for this habit is a cop out. Apnay aren't showing ANY creativity in terms of diversifying the economy of the state and don't even seem to know how to use fertilizer and pesticides properly - over using them. The state education system is a joke and besides many apnay seem to have an apathy to higher/further education in any case. As for drugs, let be honest, a lot of that comes from over the border. The smack anyway. Plus if there were ever a people ready and willing to get intoxicated, you'd find them amongst ours. The Panjab government is dominated by Sikhs, so if it is corrupt etc. our own people are a big part of the cause. Like our lot don't blow big money on needless ostentation, like weddings. It is sad that a state with some of the hardest working people IN THE WORLD NO LESS!, and advantage in terms of foreign money that gets pumped into it from diaspora Panjabis as well as the absolute fortune accumulated in Gurdwara donations - simply can't get its act together. This weak culture of blaming all of our woes on outsiders - a constant victim mentality that too many Sikhs exhibit sucks! The potential is more than there, what is needed is creativity.

what can i say? who can i choose? be it our great gurus who taught us how to live and carried out what they preached. be it our first shaheed guru arjun dev ji or guru tegh bahadur giving his life for freedom to choose your faith. or the mothers who got their babies killed and had garlands made of their body parts and still thanked waheguru. to mai bhago, mata gujri, mata sahib kaur, bebe nanki, to the chali mukte, to the 4 sahibjades. banda singh bahadur to maharaja ranjit singh. to the ones who did seva in lagars gave all their wealth to help others.to the shaheeds of the modern era and all those who suffered but never gave up their sikhi. there is no end to the people that make me proud.

Brother there is a huge difference between a wound and a woman menstruating. No matter how many biology classes one takes etc etc only a woman would be able to understand this. Waheguru Akal Purakh created this natural system. Brother you make it sound like it is a curse to be menstruating because we cannot do path from Maharaj Ji during this time. I have an health condition and doctors tell me to take medicine. I do, but majority of the time i refrain from it. I instead listen to, read more paath, and have started eating more healthy things and this has increased my health ten folds (the sickness is almost gone) compared to any drug filled with intoxicants that a doctor gave me, which is good for two seconds and i'm back at square one. Spiritually these drugs have drained me as well. There is no gain from taking any kind of intoxicant, unless it is Gurbani.
