Guru Gobind Rai Ji to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, then there would be no reason for Maharaj to get rid of this previous name. Not sure if 'Rai' is associated with a caste name, so forgive me of any ignorance. Having your surname and not believing in the caste, still falls into division and judgement. Your most likely to be targeted a certain caste by using your surname, which can still cause unnecessary friction and judgement. This is mainly from personal experience, doesn't mean its true to everyone.

gurmukhee font doesnt show up or its banned dnt go to a sikh skool lol so.. khalsaajeeeeeee?? koee taan gurmukh pyara honaa.. ask the schools IT department to install the font on the server and operating system. LOL If they ask why, say its for R.E. Sorted.

I need a in depth meaning of the actual word, not what it represents or is used in. More about the meaning of the word. If anyone can help, you appreciate it a lot. Also articles are welcome. I have searched the web, but very limited information.

I can understand that we shouldn't 'cut' our dastar material, I can see this can come across as disrespectful with using scissors. But then it still needs cutting when you go buy, like 5 meters or 10 meters length wise anyway. :S
