  3. Fellow Singhs/Kaurs: I have to do an informative speech for a class next Tuesday :D (I hate giving a speech) I am thinking of doing my speech on vegetarianism, basically the goal of the speech is to inform ppl about the topic. Would sangat here like to give some suggestions/ideas about what I should say about vege-ism or what kinda info you think would be cool or useful to know? Anyone know any cool facts or a great website on vege-ism? :umm: : Thanx everyone!
  4. I wonder about this too sometimes.........if everything that happens is God's will, then why are there so many ppl who are from Sikh families but they don't believe in Sikhi, don't have interest for it, hate goint to gurdwara, etc. Why doesnt' God make everyone appreciate him and have faith and belief in Sikhi? :umm: I don't even know if I make any sense.......
  5. :umm: Guru Tegh Bahadur sacrificed himself for Hindus in Kashmir, and this <banned word filter activated> says Sikhs gave nothing to Hindus. When have Sikhs turned against Hindus? :D Maybe he should be mad at his own folks for not doing something to be instrumental. Jeezzzz what a JEALOUS man Sikhi is all about vand ke shakana out of our earnings. Sikhi sees all humans as equal to us no matter what religion and where they come from. What a seriously misinformed murakh
  6. well said Lakhvir Singh ji this guy is from a Sikh family sounds like from the article. And yet he defended the actions of the government to go through with Op. BS? What kind of a Sikh is that? :D It took him 20 years to come up with his apology ! First "gyani zail singh" and now this guy :umm:
  7. I like whole concept of Sikhi, what Gurus did for us, how shaheed Singhs/Kaurs sacrificed their lives for future generations, and Sikha di sardari which makes us stand out in a crowd :e: :ww::  :umm:

  16. Khalsa Fauj ji: You are right jee! Sikhs need to be united if we want Khalistan in near/distant future! How can we do this if we are following different rehit maryadas established by different groups? We need to follow the rehit maryada that was established by SRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI! Didn't he say which 5 bania we are supposed to read? I don't know all the history on this so plz someone tell us. What was the rehit maryada he established besides the 5 kakaars? :umm:

  19. all the jokes are makin me :umm: !!!!!!! keep it up!!!!!!!!! i seen that one about the chicken crossing the road, theres whole bunch more on www.bored.com in the meanwhile, heres a joke :D Once upon a time there was a King of Somewhere who had a daughter who was the Princess. The King decided it was time for her to get married, but there was a little problem: everything she touches melts! So the King sent out an announcement to all the Princes of other places to come with something from their kingdom that does not melt when his Princess touches it, and that Prince will get to marry her. So all the Princes from other places came and got in line with their gold, diamonds, gems, etc from their kingdom. And one by one all those things melted as the Princess touched them. Alas, there was a poor man watching all this unfold and got in line as well. The King asks him "What do you have?" The poor guy says "it's in my pocket." So the Princess puts her hand in his pocket and the item didn't melt! And the poor guy gets to marry the Princess So what was in his pocket?????? r> It was M&M's-----they melt in your mouth not in your hands!
