Just received this text... It's happened again. Gravesend Gurdwara Gyani (the new gurdwara) was about to finish some paath off during Sunday divaan last Sunday and the paati before him smelt something... Alcohol. He confronted the Gyani, who initially denied it but then said he only had one glass. From there the Gyani got his jus desserts and got battered. Unfortunately the commitee still supports him and see no issue with this.

Its very good that so many Keertan programmes are taking place. But one benti to please refrain from putting things like "special guest kirtanee's from xyz", we go for Keertan not the Keertanee

Lol Sikh TV are a joke. They show bhangra, kachi bani and also show interviews with bhangra singers. What Giaan are we going to get from this? Also no to mention thay they have "Granthi Singhs" who do Keertan but also opnely eat meat, drink and do bhangra like theres no tomorrow. They have another studio in gravesend - what for? Dudley guy - the violence only took place because your drunk men pushed the Singhs too far. Also what why do u keep mentioning the violence? What about the hours and hours of simran? DId that Just not happen? Or were u too busy with ur gidda? Learn what Sikhi is first before slanderin Gursikhs and having Singh in ur name. Also, this story has made it on the sun where once again they use the word militant. Can we all please write to these newspapers and tell them what really went on and they are being really prejudice etc. And as Sikhs we will boycott their newspapers.

southall youth jee, i mean this with the greatest of respect... How can you be so picky and choosey with maryada and beadbi? Isnt allowing moneh, sharabi bhangra singers onto a gurdwara stage to sing their kachi bani songs not beadbi of Guroo Sahib?

It's a good basic source of knowledge for outsiders but apart from that I actually thought it was quite funny/wrong lol
