  1. As has been said in prior posts, where are the mods!? These kookay has go so far as to refer to Nihang Singh Dastaar Bunga in a derogatory manner by calling it a 'twin tower' in one of the previous posts, which was like two or so pages back! Not to mention questioning the authority of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj At the end of the day, the situation speaks for itself - 99.9% of Sikhs acknowledge Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj as the Eternal Guru of the Sikhs. By running this conspiricy theory of the so-called 'Satguru' Balak Sinh attaining Gurgaddi, Kookay are basically saying that the Sikh Panth are the stupidest bunch of people going around because we have got our belief system totally wrong for the past 300 years! What bakwaas.
  2. What makes you certain that these people are "Jatt" and not "chamaars" in disguise seeking to cause further conflicts in the Sikh Panth? Chamaar Ravidassis have been putting up anti-Sikh- anti-Jatt, anti-anything-that-disagrees-with-them videos in a concentrated and organised manner recently. Why would someone who calls herself Bibiejatt put up anti-Jatt videos? Regards, K. You are right, there are many videos on Youtube which have been put up by others to discredit Jatts as well as Sikhs as a whole. The shameless characters doing so have upped the ante since the Vienna incident. Moreover, I'm not saying that Jatts are all angels, but to say that they are sellouts and a disgrace to Sikhi is grossly unfair. For every Jatt does engage in such foolish acts, there are probably several more who want to smack that person around for doing so.
  3. Oh haven't you heard, only the Muslas are allowed freedom of speech these days. The rest of us have been placed under a gag order. Seriously though, although I care for white hooligans as much as I do for these kattar Muslims, I would be disgusted if they were not allowed to protest. It would go to show that mainstream Britain is well and truly dhimmified if this protest is banned.
  4. Well he can atleast remove 'Singh' from his name. I HATE such people that upon converting out of Sikhi, continue to use the name Singh. I'm sorry but you gave up that right when you deserted your religion and all the martyrs who died for you to be able to atleast make that choice. /end rant.
  5. You are right - it's a shame that a lot of folks forget these places. If there were to be an independent Sikh homeland, these places MUST be included. Sikhs may have suffered in India, by they are also suffering just as bad in Pakistan.
  6. My bad, I just realised that I posted this in the wrong section - It was meant to be in the 'Fun Section'. My apologies - Mods please move it if you feel the need to.
  7. Take a look at this guys, and spare a thought for them  : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxGDu5umhIE...yer_profilepage  I don't like to laugh at another's misfortune, but this video cracks me up - what happened to India's elite? Oh you poor Brahmins :D
  8. It's true that India is way behind in terms of how the go about building projects etc. But it's not good to laugh at such incidents - think of the poor workers that lose their lives or get injured from such mishaps. There's no insurance or worker's compensation over there. If anything, this should highlight the duty of care an employer has to its workers, and whether or not the builders of the Delhi Metro are ensuring worker safety. But knowing India, it will never happen. The employers/builders get rich and the workers keep dying. I guess in the land of a billion people lives are cheap and there will always be a ready replacement. Sad really.
  9. We need to be wise in countering an enemy. Lets take a recent example. There are lots of GOI sponsered fake babas in Punjab. Recently one of them was sent to hell in vienna, austria. NOw what this has done is taht it has put fear in the minds of other paapis that they will be sent to hell as well. This is called smart selective fighting. In the same way, if these muslims attack ur dignity, couple of them must be taught a lesson. Get hold of a couple of them, break both their legs, arms and tell them that if they dont stop, next time they will be sent to hell. You make a good point. Attacks should be strategic and limited (this will avoid any legal problems which may result) - as such, the best way would be to target a particularly important individual and hit them fast and HARD. Do it so that it creates such a strong point that any other troublemakers would think twice before doing anything again.
  10. Don't you just love it when the Indian media refers to our respected institutions as 'radical'.
  11. Who needs Bollywood to make us out to look like fools, when we have this guy!
  12. Just bought the album from itunes. Just wanted to say well done on an excellent production. Keep up the good work guys, need more people like you to spread the msg! Peace.
  13. Totally agree with you on that one, you have put it very nicely. We should remember that the essence of everything is Sat (Truth). This is the origin of all religion. Throughtout the ages, people have slowly lost sight of this. Sikhi is taking us back to Sat, which is Waheguru.
  14. I remember reading on a forum (perhaps this one), that Ugardanti was originally part of Sri Dasam Granth, however, was removed by the Sodhak Committee. Any truth to this?
  15. Sorry brother, I am not too knowledgeable as to why this form of jhatka is performed. Perhaps it is done as opposed to doing jhatka of goats? Just wanted to post a photo I found of naryal jhatka: http://www.flickr.com/photos/akaalmedia/31...57612255402011/ If the person to whom this photo belongs reads this post or frequents this forum, please accept my humble apologies for placing a link to this photo - I hope you do not mind, just came accross it and thought that it was relevent to the discussion.
  16. When did you visit last? :D I have never visited  , but Im thinking it would be nice place to visit as its the birthplace to visit . I hope to visit one day. I have heard many great things about Pakistan. People say Sikhs get alot of respect overthere. Oh yes, just like we did in 1947, or recently in Swat and Khyber  It's disheartening that some of our most important shrines and Gurdwaras are located in what has become the most God-foresaken country on Earth. With a Taliban take-over in the pipeline, it can only get worse. :o
  17. Bhai Sahib Inder Singh ji, we are all behind you here. Unfortunately my location limits my ability to help you achieve this task, but I can assure you that once you have set this precedent, the die will have been cast, and these naastiks' 15 minutes of glory will soon end. We really have to counter this effectively, because I have seen the effect their 'philosophy' has on the minds a lot of the younger Sikhs, who are often out of ignorance, are staunchly Hinduphobic. This Hinduphobia often occurs in order for them to assert a distinct 'Punjabi' identity, rather than be associated with Hindus, who they often see as being 'weak' etc. The problem is that Kala-Afghanists etc. feed on these impressionable minds when these youths eventually want to learn more about Sikhi. This is where the danger starts. There needs to be more aggressiveness when countering their lies. If you observe them, they often come accross as being very 'cocky' and confrontational. We must also be this way, however, while still being careful not to stoop down to their level.
  18. don't know what this has to do with Sikhi, but Owen is cursed since leaving Liverpool!! Look at Real and Newcastle since he joined. Congrats Fergie, you have inherited the curse that is Michael Owen! Scousers are going to go all the way this year lol
  19. Brother, don't stereotype - of course plenty of Jatts are involved in caste discrimination, but it would not be fair to assume that they are the only ones that do so. The reason that Jatts feature so often in cases of discrimination is due to their numbers and prevelence in Punjabi society. Targetting and blaming a certain group will only cause more friction.
  20. If you guys didn't already know, check out: http://www.ensaaf.org/ Features video clips featuring this great man. Among other things, he was involved with this organisation. RIP Mr Ram Narayan Kumar
  21. Well done looking out for that! I'm sure if that's his real account, a few thousand inboxes will surely do something to sway his mind into changing his film's plot etc., or better yet, abandon it altogether!
  22. Great, just when you thought Bollywood couldn't get any worse in its portrayal of Sikhs, we get a so-called 'blockbuster' based on the butcher KP Gill. And if that wasn't bad enough, now they have a woman playing a male Sikh - this is a blatant attempt to emasculate the Sikh community, nonetheless 25 years after Operation Bluestar. Surely no coincidence.
  23. ...Are these the Lebs (that's what they are called in Aus isn't it) that live in the Lakemba area of Sydney Didn't they get beat up by the White Australians in the Cronulla Riots? Sort of.. Basically, what was occurring was that Lebanese youths who had been frequenting the beach at Cronulla had for a number of years been causing a lot of problems by way of harassing girls, starting needless fights etc. The 2005 riots were a reaction to a incident that occurred immediately prior to the riots, where Lebanese youths beat up a surf-lifesaver. The residents of the Cronulla area simply reached boiling point. What was believed to have started as a day of protest eventually turned ugly due to alcohol. Moreover, right-wing groups also had a presence, which therefore gave things racist undertones. From what I remember, there were a few Lebanese youths that were beaten up by these mobs. Subsequently, dozens upon dozens of Lebanese Muslim youths sought retribution on the night after the riots occurred, wherein they descended upon Cronulla and surrounding suburbs and damaged cars, property, burnt and defiled Australian flags, and assaulted innocent people. Apparently the police had wind of the plans that the Lebanese had to do this, however due to the increasingly PC and cowardist dhimmi attitude of law enforcement, they were told to stand down. Although the riots were technically racist in nature (which no one should ever condone), this racism was confined to the Lebanese Muslim youths who have generally a very poor reputation, and are extremely racist themselves. Incidentally, there have been recent protests by Punjabi/Sikh and Indian students in another suburb of Sydney due to increasing violence perpetuated on them by none other than the Lebanese!
  24. These slanderers will stop at nothing. There are a few youtube videos containing ridiculous comments, one of which even stating: If such people even deny that the Tenth Master composed poetry, I just don't know what can be done with them!
  25. Jug Jug Satgur Dhereah avtaara. The word avtaar is composed of two words, av(downwards) and taar(passage) refers to the descent of God in his transcendental form into this mundane world. The supreme Lord takes avtaar in every Juga. The reason for the Lord to take avtaar is clearly has beeb clearly stated - Jab Jab Bhereah Arisht Apara Tab Tab Dheh Tharat Avtaara. Whenever spirituality begins to decline, the Lord himself takes avtaar in the world to save mankind. Param Purakh Paavan Sadah Aaph Pargat Ho Aae, Aaph Pargat Ho Aae Din Racaha Keah Karan. Thank you for your reply. I do understand the concept of Avtaars. I also recognise the existence and need for Mahapurkh Sants & Brahmgianis and that Guru Ji says that they should be given the utmost respect. What I'm confused about is that, if I'm not mistaken, it has been stated that Baba Nand Singh ji is an avtaar of Guru Ji. Is this correct? I didn't know that our Gurus could transcend into avtaars because Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the embodiment of Gurus and IS the Guru. Slightly confused... help a brother out!
