Are you sure? I never knew brahmins in punjab were in large numbers or held such power. The problem is with us and we complain about being oppressed but in many instances like this we are the oppressor. Once people admit this then only can we move on

I find it has more to do with RS being mainly from low castes but this does expose the problems we face in Sikh. As these people are not Sikh we should not assume that they have no right to be on this earth, I find this sort of thinking in alot of our people for example with Punjabi Christians, Buddhists, Ravidasias, Radhasoami, some parts of Hindu like Baba Balak Nath and so on. They have as much right to be on this earth as we do and im sure Waheguru would not discriminate as he made us all. When Waheguru asks you why you hate these people as he made them as well? What would your response be? Just because they do thing differently it does not make them wrong and who are to be so self righteous?

these guys may seem docile but they are crazy look at history from panj pyareh till beant singh who killed indira gandhi. they seem to have a thick skin and higher threshold before becoming aggressive but as history proves when they raise their fists it will be remembered. anyway I dont think there is anything to worry about from these people as they dont seem to step out with any malice in them which is surprising considering the hard time they have had through history. its not like they are turning hindu/muslim/christian or whatever but focus their belief on bhagat ravidas who has an important place withing our religion too.

I disagree, I went to school/college/uni with many Ravidassia and often see them around. I asked about this census thing they all supported this and the separate religion while they do not hate Sikhi most see it as a logical progression in their community which one explained to me is to propagate the teachings of Bhagat Ravidass Ji. The change has already started in India and following in Europe and North America. It is all a question of time when it reaches the UK as it has already reached critical mass and the youth are right behind this. I agree however that Sangat TV should not be manipulated by these people, no disrespect but they dont follow rehat maryarda, display khanda as their symbol, use different jakara and greeting/salutation. They pilgrimage to a place in Varansi not Amritsar. I dont think RSS is involved and we must stop saying RSS this and RSS that.
