If you are using wifi to stream the radio then check your wifi sleep policy and set it to never turn off. I have had 2 iphones and switched to android a while back. They failed to take action against the Delhi Prabandakhs who are literally on their doorstep, what type of message does that send to people allowing meat, sharab etc in countries like England? Until they back up their sandesh and meetings with action these type of meetings are a waste of time.

Whats the point in this when they fail to take action against the Delhi prabandakhs for what has been happening at the hall at Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib in Delhi? The current Akal Takht Jathedar was provided with video and photograhic proof of the meat, smoking etc at this hall more more than a year ago. They were going to summon Sarna but nothing was heard about this ever again.

Thats what many people were saying. They were also saying Dadu tried to emulate Baba Ranjit Singh Ji but failed to attract a following so used the Sirsa thing for publicity and do work for BAdal as he had lost Sirsa pakhandis vote in the Malwa, also they said if he was so anti beadbi then why did he do nothing when his own appointed people undertook beadbi in an Akal Academy (Boru Sahib) in Ratia. I always thought he was ok but having seen seen what has transpired over the last week or so and his alliance with Dhumma I am having second thoughts about his integrity etc. I am also now beginning to think that the whole sirsa pakhandi thing was engineered by Badal to get votes. Many people in Fatehabad district said to me that the sirsa pakhandi was wearing a pink dress and that was the photo that was used to impress on people that he was projecting himself as Guru Gobind Singh Ji Mahraj. They said this a slur against Guru Ji as the Father of the Khalsa would not wear a pink dress. I think the Badals have been very clever in this whole scenario. They have used their pitoo in the Sant Samaj to try and influence voters and destory the pakhandis votebank in the Malwa. This does not excuse the killings of Singh by the pakhandis followers but we need to rise above this and see through Badals media spin. Also with regards to Dhumma, he is also very friendly with Sarna. A few years ago when Sarna was summoned to the Akal Takht it was Dhumma who was making statements in favour of Sarna and if my memory serves me correctly he accompanied Sarna to the Akal Takht.

Doubt it very much as Baba Baljeet Singh Ji has not fallen in line with the Dhumma samajis. He is always willing to take on Sirsa Pakhandi and others unlike the samajis who call off morchas when Sukhbir Badal asks them to and sit silently on this issue.

Those sant samajis who aligned with Badal should no longer be made welcome on their foreign tours. They are nothing but turncoats, last year Dhumma was telling everyone on Sikh channel after the Ludhiana police firing that he would take on the Badals. He did not stay true to his word yet claims he is a brahmgiani. People need to be aware of all these Badal chamchey in the sant samaj. Kudos to Baba Ranjit Singh Ji who stood back from the whole SGPC elections, the badals would have loved his voting endorsement but Baba Ji was busy doing dharam pachar.

Baba Ji kept out of the current SGPC business and I suppose knows first hand about Dhummas deals over the Sirsa Pakhandi like when Dhumma called off an anti sirsa pakhandi morcha in chandigarh after a closed foor meeting with Sukhbir Badal. Everyone knows Dhumma was Rodes man-Friday, so they engineered his jathedari. Jasbir Rode has also benefited from his tie up with Badal. Just a few months ago his son came over from Canada and beat someone up, his dads links with Badal got him off the hook.

Because Dhumma used the Ludhiana shootings to do a deal with the Badals. So everything was forgotten about and Dhumma and his buddies got a few things like the calendar amended etc.

Very much agree with you. Sadly people get confused between sarkar appointed jathedar and the Akal Takht. There is a clear demarcation between the two. Criticising the Akal Takht should not be allowed full stop but the actions of Badals appointed jathedar are a different matter. As for what has been said for Dhesian Kanha, it is all a political game and cheap vote bank politics for the SGPC elections. This will get worse with the state assembly elections around the corner, Badal cannot afford to alienate any group with a sizeable following so expect him to be pandering to everyone (inclusing the Sirsa pakhandi).

I agree that we should respect the INSTITUTIONS of the Akaal Takht and Damdami Taksal linked to the 6th and 10th Gurus BUT that does not mean we have to respect Badal appointed jathedar and people like Dhumma who align themselves with Badal. Have the Sikh Federation asked people like Jasbir Rode and Dhumma to lobby Badal with regards to Saini?

Thats not all for years the vast farm estates attached to some of our Gurdwara have been rented out of peppercorn rents. They are usually allotted to Badal's party men. A few years ago there were stories that caskets full of jewels in the Darshani Deori had seals broken on them and found to be empty. Fingers were pointed at the SGPC pradhan but the matter was hushed up. From top to bottom the SGPC is steeped in nepotism and corruption. Take for example so called Kar Sewa wale, they are allotted projects and kickbacks are paid and some of the so called baba involved are unsavoury characters. 'Baba' Amrik Su was found to have transferred land into his own name, sold subsidised cement meant for sewa, had a woman friend and a bank locker full of gold and money. He was kept out of the loop of kar sewa for a few years but has again been made a SGPC takedar to collect money under the guise of kar sewa. It is the same Amrik who destroyed puratan art on the ceiling of the Sri Darbar Sahib at TarnTaran and replaced it with pop art found in comics.

Does the above alter the links between the Sikh Federation and the DDT? In one of your other posts you wrote 'From the outset the Federation has been and will continue to be linked to the Damdami Taksal, the oldest Sikh seminary established by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.' We all know the Badal sarkar have protected Saini and promoted him to head the vigilance cell. Dhumma is also close to the Badal sarkar and has aligned himself with the Badal family for the upcoming SGPC elections. So why can't the Sikh Federation use their links with the Taksal and get the Jathedar to put pressure on the Badals to take action against Saini for all his crimes (there are others apart from the ones mentioned above).

DDT Dhumma says a lot of things. After the Ludhiana shootings he said he would take on the sarkar. What happened to his words? Rode is a known turncoat. Everyone knows that when he came out of prison he dropped his demands for puran azadi and was armed by the GOI. A few years ago MK Dhar stated this in his book and Rode said he would take Dhar to court etc. To date no court case has been filed as far as I am aware.

Sadly Badal has hold over everything from appointing Takht Jathedar in Punjab to the DDT. He has his tentacles over most things in Punjab and until his hold is broken he will continue to use his power to do what he (and his son) want. Its sad to see that Dhuma has become ghulam to the Badals. Whilst Shaheed Baba Jarnail Singh Ji said that the foundations of Khalistan will be laid when the army attacked Sri Darbar Sahib, these self styled jathedar of today are hand in pocket with the Badals who are staunchly pro Indian union.

Why did Badal not get the Anand Karaj Act passed when he was part of the NDA sarkar with the BJP? If the PM is to be summoned then so should Badal for failing to get anything done for Sikhs when he was with the BJP.
