You never heard Anand Sahib being sung in Ramkali raag? This is what is called nirdharat kirtan, kirtan that is sung in the raag prescribed by Guru Sahib. This is as close as we can get to singing Gurbani as Guru Sahib intended it. If Kirtan is done in nirdharat raag AND with tanti saaj (stringed intruments) then the its just WOW! Look up kirtanis like Bhai Avtaar Singh, Bhai Nirmal Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Shaant, Dr. Gurnam Singh, Bhai Balbir Singh Specifically, Bhai Avtaar Singh Jee, who is part of a lineage which has been doing gurmat kirtan from when Guru Sahib Jee were in human form. They are with us no more but their son carries on. They do kirtan in redentions which were the norm back then but have since been lost. One such redentions is below for everyone's enjoyment It's sung in partaal which means it's sung in multiple taals. I apologize for going off topic.
