    Kaur Needs Advice

Women from India may adjust better but maybe they just adjust and do not ever love. I'd rather marry a woman that is honest about her feelings, marries me because she likes me and does not change herself completely (unless there's things wrong with her). However, I won't be marrying a woman because I'm one so maybe my advice isn't as helpful as the others.

    Virgin Husband

Be proud of yourself! You shouldn't be doing anything physical with a woman other than your wife. If she laughs at you you know not to marry her. Do you want to marry someone who has been around? If yes then I can't comment further but if no then find someone that feels the same way.
  4. Good point, I agree it's a lame answer. I think we both read different parts of the website. From a quick read on the net what I have found is Dr Ambedkar say what I say. He believed Gandhi thought caste was the backbone of Hinduism (I'm sure you have heard of him). This website is by Gandhi lovers who explain Dr Ambedkar's view on Gandhi and then explain why they think it's not true. Have a read and all I will say is perhaps read up more on why Dr Ambedkar says that to get your answer. www.mkgandhi.org/articles/soul.htm
  5. It's all good if they give Guru Ji as much respect as the Bhagavad Gita but Guru Ji are not a holy book. Are they treating Guru Ji with the respect that a true Sikh would is what worries me.
  6. Why don't you try to use your brain. It will be hard because from reading your posts I would guess you haven't been using your brain as much as your fingers. Don't worry, it's never too late. Now is the time. I don't have the time to go to a lbrary and find you a credible source, we were taught about Gandhi in my course and I know that he was not against the caste system as he believed it benefitted India. He believed it was the backbone of his religion. Do a search on this but in the meantime this is nteresting reading on the 'Status of the Untouchables' www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Indian_caste_system He renamed the lower caste Harijaans. If you want to kill your dog off would you rename him or stop calling him by a name? If you want a credible source read books on him that are not written by those that were madly in love with him. The source I posted may not be credible but qoutes are and I fail to see how he is in favour of aboloishing the caste system. Do some reading even if it is on the internet.
  7. It's a red mark on the forehead and Hindus do it too but the last time I checked Hindus do alot of other things that Sikhs do like travelling by plane and having religious places of worship and did anyone on Sikhsangat know that some Hindus also drink water?
  8. I don't know much about Gandhi but you obviously know only what his 'fans' wrote. Read this which I came across in my search on the net, of course if a quote by Gandhi is not enough I can't help you, not that I came on this site to help you. http://www.bfg-muenchen.de/caste.htm
  9. I disagree with this statement about Gandhi. Can u prove ur allegation? You mean you need me to prove he agreed with caste?
  10. Bob if you have not got pure thoughts in your head then I'm happy for you but no need to make it out that it's ok to use Kaur just because she has talent and dresses in a way that pleases you. I would guess Hard Kaur is meant to be a clever way to say hardcore? I don't think I need to explain any further why I don't like her and would find it difficult to understand why a Sikh would like her.

    I Love A Muslim Girl

continue to love and care for her as a friend and move on. How can the love for her be more or stronger than the love for one's family who we spend years with all to vanish in a few months for our own happiness?
  12. Caste is a big problem in India where members of lower castes suffer daily at the hands of upper class hindus. Before you begin to support Gandhi could you tell us why he did not wish to see the abolition of the caste system? That's just one point.
  13. No, Gandhi may not have wanted a divide but that's because he did not want hindus to lose land. He was for the caste system, he called Dashmesh PitaJi something I don't want to type on this forum, and if you read up on some of his other ideas you realise that the only thing he was good at was.....tying a dhoti.
  14. Good to know someone does not agree with my statement but just a few questions for you to answer: 1. Is the hindu amrit made after the reading of Panj Banian and Panj Pyare present? 2. If amrit is the same then why is there a picture of charan amrit when we now have amrit prepared with the Panj Pyare? I'm not against the hindu print in the picture, but I do believe that it could be beadbhi but on the other hand it might not be.
  15. Details about Saab were posted in another thread. Not good to hear the truth but that's life. International Akali Harinder Singh knows a lot about BabaJi, not because he sleeps with them, but because he spends the day with them. All the details he has given have been about the daytime. Maybe you should not talk aloud if you have a dirty mind? I still remember the time when news was that Babaji are in jail and at that time they were in Belgium, yes I was there too, quite funny to be honest, but that's life. To the person that asks why Harinder only posts when this topic comes up, I think it's wise to comment where you have knowledge and being close to BabaJi he should comment so we know that side to the story (he is doing the sangat a favour so let's not complain now). Thank you Harinder Singh for those pictures, I was intending on meeting BabaJi last week but couldn't so fingers crossed Feb. and I think BabaJi will be the same they always are, surrounded by sangat with not much time to meet women alone let alone do more.
  16. For the first time on this forum I have to agree with militant singh. That is beadbi. Firtly, Amrit is not splashed on feet but on head and eyes. Second, the artist thinks that the hindu and sikh amrit are the same but darlings let's face it it's not! To those that say he should have better things to do, why don't you tell R4GGS group to stop wasting their time stopping beadbi? If someone like Militant Singh has something useful to say you think he is wasting his time. That makes me question why the rest of you waste your time on sikhsangat.
  17. What could they possibly do? If beadbhi is happening there and then I do not think there was any other option. However, I believe a Singh should use his kirpan to protect Guru Ji.
  18. That might include Sant Singh Maskeen. Judging by your posts you might not understand the humour. Needless to say I disagree with you silly views that generalise way too much. Bhai Randhir Singh Ji (AKJ) even called someone a Sant and AKJ are quite well known for being anti sant lot. Looks like its ok every now and then?
  19. If you post on a site it is to get peoples opinions so when they take the timeout I suggest you read what they have to say to you. You are 18, that's a good age to want to cut your hair, we lose any respect then and only care about what other people think about us. I can understand why you don't want to look like your father- Guru Ji that is- to come to think of it I cannot even think of one reason why a son would not want to look like his father who is the most perfect and handsome dad in the world. But I want to look like I'm part of the family. If feeling like a disowned nothing makes you feel good then I'm happy for you mate.
  20. I used the word baba because that is the word some people often use to describe saints.
