Pyara a demonstrates some rather damning statistics from reputable sources. I think perhaps Sikhs need to distance themselves from this culture and shun it. The vast majority of achievements in the part of the world have been Sikh achievements and not 'punjabi' ones. I am talking of the culture and not the geographical location and I think that what we need to reiterate to sangers.

It is difficult. There likely won't be a single strategy or quick fix. A multi level faceted approach over two or three decades set by a central Sikh educational organisation with receptive committees in all large Gurdwaras will be required.
