On a side note... Did you know that the British Library also own copies of the Dasam Granth? They own quite a number of precious early and modern sikh manuscripts, artifacts etc I've no idea how theyre stored but they certainly arent sitting on a bookshelf. Theyre not accessable by just anyone. They wont be given the proper respect and regalia but they are treated as historic documents and thus given the respect that precious historical manuscripts deserve. Something we can learn a lot from. Many of these manuscripts and artifacts probably wouldnt exist had they been left in our hands. The british library is an archive of many many manuscripts from every corner of the world. Its a treasure house. There is also no way that they will part with these priceless manuscripts.

I really dont think we're in any position to judge him. Nor are they tbh. Badals chamche. But since they have that authority for now, at the very least, Bhai Balbir Singh ji should have been offered the chance to come clean on his actions, to admit to his mistakes and seek forgiveness.

You guys need to calm the fook down. This is hazoori ragi bhai Balbir Singh ji we're talking about. Until the full truth surfaces, get off your high horses. Its pretty clear from the vid how uncomfortable he is. He doesnt want to be there. This is nothing like Bhai Sahib. He is never seen without his blue dastar. Why is he so under-dressed for such a formal meeting with ashutosh? Out of formality he shows respect to the man but nothing more. Do you see him bowing at ashutoshs feet like the others? Also when the hindi dude says something about kirpa hui, Bhai sahibs response contradicts the man. Kirpa de kirpa. Not ashutoshs kirpa. We're being a little judgemental here. Nowhere does he profess to be a gursikh or anything similar. He has the roop of a khalsa but if he was to cut his hair we'd all be crying patit and what not. Why isnt he a good role model? His taught us that we can be anything in the west. That our roop doesnt hold us back. This guys doing pretty good for himself. Jsinghnz, brush up on your english. Secondly, you seem to make many generalised statements, blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Have you been to the uk? How many such cases do you personally know of? Its funny because as i resident of this country, ive very rarely heard of such cases. About as rare as they may be in the americas. Girls running off with muslims, christians, hindus etc. Also, you talk asthough the whole uk sikh population has no sikhi. Sikhs have flourished in the uk, sikhi has flourished! More so than any other country. Sikhs are the second most successful religious group in the uk, the jews being the first (obviously).
