  1. I'd Agreed, the weed in Punjab is pretty much organic (grows where farmers etc don't apply their Chems)..it's a literal 'weed' that is indigenous to the area for 1000s of years unlike the commercial (illegal or legal) weed we get in the west that is 'farmed' just like any other cash crop
  2. This is quite an amusing topic. If you go to the pind areas in Punjab cannabis is evrerywhere (you can literally smell it in the air). It literally grows like a 'weed' everywhere. I asked many cousins etc why they drink and do the other drugs like pills which they have to pay for, and they couldn't answer me, when free were is everywhere. Imagine if weed grew everywhere in the UK...booze sales would collapse. Imagine if there was a plant everywhere that produced whisky bottles or pills the locals in Panjab would be all over it. It's a mystery but kind of confirms my belief that the stupidity of people knows no limits
  3. Always be wary of Sikhs who take honours like obe's etc. They bang on about racism , inclusion and all that jazz...but it's just to elevate their egos, climb the ladders and they can't run quick enough to Buckingham palace to get 'empire' added to their name and kneel before the establishment that spread that empire around the world . I find it disgusting...as Sikhs we only bow/kneel before one thing ...we are actually not allowed to bow before other false kings/queen's . Here's a solid bloke Benjamin Zephaniah, who makes this point about obe's better than I ever could . If it looks like a spoon, acts like a spoon...it's most probably a spoon f8U8J5UjaAE
  4. It's a strange world ..I remember many moons ago at college and uni the Hindus would always hang around with us Sikhs...they'd come to us for help if they had Pak problems... But as with human nature once they get a bit of 'influence' they think they can do without us. It's funny because we always saw ourselves as lions..but we privately conceded that a lion can be taken down by millions of ants (our situation in India)
  5. What I'm getting at is that our goal should always be to sort our own house out first and foremost. If that is done, then no external force can win. The BJP/RSS did that decades ago and to some extent they have created their 'raj' now . They've even got their little puppets planted all over the world in other countries (notably the USA and UK).
  6. Her book is really good ..mantra art it is called . Bought one for the wife a while back
  7. I'm going to try and be impartial here. Did the RSS/BJP force Sikhs to turn to liquer, cut their hair etc? Up until the 90s they (the RSS and BJP) were under pressure by the Congress/centrists, who ran things. The Congress tried to attack them too. But unlike us, they maintained their unity and played the long game. I think if we had more unity and learnt from past mistakes we would be a more formidable force. They are nationalists ...we are nationalists...they are united ..we are not
  8. Yep, always found it odd how the representations of our gurus always had fair skin and 'unwrinkled' completions . They all had tough lives, travelled far and wide, spent most of their time outside...they would look more like the nihangs you see near anandpur sahib.
  9. That's the problem with art. If done well it allows you to connect with an 'intention' or 'feeling'. But at other times it just makes you question things... When it comes to art and religion I'm always reminded of this scene from Malcolm X Art can be a form of propoganda, to distract and mislead followers. But then you have art that connects with you https://www.sikhiart.com/product/guru-gobind-singh-ji-machhiwara/ Art like this of guru ji in machhiwara represent what it might have been like and often allows me to relate to those times in our history
  10. I used to be of the mindset where muscles/athleticism = toughness. But then when I did my training in various martial arts it was the big muscle blokes who were the weakest and easiest to beat. You just keep away from them for a bit, let their lactic build up and then they were easy to defeat. As I got older it was the 'sarbloh' mind that made all the difference. Look at the likes of khabib, his big advantage is that he's had a very hard upbringing, that's made him solid in the mind that's why he is next level. If you look at the histories of past boxing champs the best ones came from very tough upbringings. The likes of the SAS is not full of middle class soft kids... The moneh we talk about who stick up for sikhi are the ones who don't give a hoot and have solid mindsets (principles, loyalty to mates, don't think about the effect of their actions on their careers etc). If you want to get strong aim for this, it's much better and effective that cosmetic isolation excercises, it's what our 'tough' ancestors had
  11. If I dress up as superman...can I fly? Nah. What is a Sikh...at the simplest level you are a mirror of guru ji. I've had this battle in the past..sometimes I feel like a fizzy low sugar drink (i.e a zero alcohol beer)...but then I think to myself would Guru ji even drink a zero alcohol beer? And it's a no. Maybe I'm too literal in my understanding, but gurus rules to me are eternal, and I kick myself regularly for allowing my 'man' to win. A good example was the Giani at my local gurdwara on new yrs day he said people should go to the gurdwara, they shouldn't be scared at home (he's an old bloke), you have no say in when you'll die, he basically 'rollocked' the sangat on new yrs day asking them where they had been ... He has a 'sarbloh' mind, he is solid as anything. To me that is someone of guru roop, and would he ever cut his hair? Nah, he'd rather die
  12. Can you call yourself a part of an army regiment if you don't wear the uniform , abide by your oath to that regiment, abide by it's rules? Nah, it's like you or me going around saying we are part of the SAS. Personally , I think guru ji quite clear on what a Sikh is and the ultimate judge of it is not me or you. Sikhi is quite simple (guru ji wanted it accessable to all), so am I a khalsa? Nah, but it's something I hope I'll be able to achieve in this life or ones down the road.
  13. The crash will only come when it is useful. The markets do not follow 'logic'..they are manipulated (just look at what gamestop revealed about market manipulation). The markets and their movements are controlled by a few firms and individuals. When the decide the market needs to pop, you'll be the last to know. It's a rigged system.
  14. I can't find the article ..but if I do then I'll share it. But it was about how the BJP became as successful as they have. The key point was that decades ago the leadership of the BJP (senior figures) saw that Hindus were historically defeated by being 'divided' (moghals, British then by secular Hindu elites)...they then decided no matter what, once a party decision was made all senior leaders must back it (no ifs or buts). As much as the BJP is dodgy, the Sikh kaum could learn a great deal from that strategy. We always lose because we divide ourselves, if a decision doesn't go out way we form our own group (look at gurdwara committees, the various Sikh feds/councils,..etc). Personally I have to respect them on that key point, they looked at why they failed in the past...then took solid action to ensure it didn't happen again and played the long game for success.
  15. Look at snowden and assange...how are they getting on for proper journalism and being honest? How long did Mandela spend in prison? What happened to the likes of biko, Malcolm X for speaking truth? Look at the guildford 4 ....what I'm saying is that if a state has you 'marked' then you will get justice...just might not be in this lifetime
  16. Where have we seen these 'traps' before? It's just the same playbook. If you control the media, intel apparatus and levers of power it's quite easy to discredit 'sach'. Look at what happened in the US with capital hill..same modus operandi. Stick a couple of your stooges in the crowd, shepherd crowds to a location, have your narratives lined up...repeat the narratives on controlled media ...and bingo. Luckily more and more folks are seeing it for what it is. There are actually loads of protests going on around the world but the media are blocking them...yet 'approved' protests get loads of coverage (ahem BLM , climate things)
  17. Cuba, n Korea are not actually communist. Unfortunately I spent 5yrs studying politics academically and we've never had a Marx style communist state. In his books communism would come after capitalism ..but with the likes of USSR, n Korea, Cuba they skipped the 'capitalism' bit and went straight to a Mish mash of models (agrarian societies to communist). Marx was very clear that his communism comes after capitalism has burnt itself out (and in the process built up the infrastructure for a communist state). In a way it was a perfect way to discredit Marx as so called 'communist' states were never created in the 'right' (according to Marx) situation .
  18. If you get involved in Gurdwara management you have access to 2 things. The banks that handle Gurdwara funds & loans, and local politicians. Thats why folks used to get involved and be openly corrupt (get cheap personal loans from the banks that handle the gurdwara, get planning applications passed from local politicans etc). But has got better since gurdwara's had to register with the charities commission and provide annual audited accounts. I've always pitied those who are corrupt within gurdwara's because if you do wrong not knowing the 'rules' then that's uderstandable, but if you do wrong when you know the 'rules' then thats a big problem re. karma.
  19. why not ask a bird, ant or monkey whether god is 'capitalist' or 'communist'? If you could speak to them, they'd think you were mad. Humans are the only creatures that pay to eat, drink and have shelter...have a think about that. Just because you've been brought up to think a 'madness' is normal and natural and accepted by most, doesn't mean it actually is
  20. Most western kids go into nursery early on, then pre school , then primary and so on . In terms of active hours put in parents have less and less contact with their kids these days. So if kids are beta or not you can't just put it at the door of how the mum was
  21. I'd recommend you read a book like 'a new earth' by Eckhart tolle. The corruption you speak of is just a manifestation of 'ego' (haumai), the me/mine . Ever tried to get a toy off a kid? They will act in a conniving way to keep it (my toy and all that). This then just manifests in different ways as people get older and have different types of 'my toy'. Ego is the disease , the things like corruption are just the symptoms
  22. Seems like 'such' is being attacked and taken down on many fronts around the world.
  23. Check out robert f Kennedy jnrs take on vaccines. The problem is that he comes from a powerful political family, is not right wing in the slightest (he's a prominent environmentalist) and a lawyer. Despite this he has highlighted the issue with vaccines and how they aren't tested properly (they are unique in that the safety studies are designed so they pass, not fail and the Pharma firms are immune from prosecution). The biggest fallacy is when people talk about polio and smallpox being eradicated thanks to 'vaccines'..despite the fact they were in decline before the vaccines, as they were diseases of absolute poverty (today's poverty is nothing like that form 60yrs+ ago). You might as well credit things like 'refrigeration' for polio and smallpox disappearing because they enabled food to keep for longer and hence absolute hunger was confined to very few people. It's why you don't see disease like scurvy anymore
