VJKK, VJKF well ye but u see them 2day, they r a piss take, the reason 4 5 shastar is the pure fact in Dasam Granth that a GurSikh should always have 5 Shastar on them at all times. this is sumthing i practice myself. the Shastar in my damala are a 'backup' as you could put it. dont know if any of u know this, but even if 1 of the tips of your kanga brakes off, its no longer a valid kanga... hence y nihangs (cant say all) have 2 in there kesh. i mean taking it 2 the extrem of having a lil kanga round ur neck or even a kashera is something to worry about. also with the shastar in your kesh, @ the highest and id say the most respectable place on our bodies, i dont c the wrong in it. bottom line is your not with out ur Kirpan in this case. better than removing it totaly. and even with the neck ones, they might say sumthing... the ones in ur dastar r hidden but also hard to get to which would show ur intentions of NOT wanting to harm any1.

get a set of Kesh'e Shastar, u can get em from nihangs. its a kara with 4 peaces of 'toora' (iron rope) with a teer, kirpan, khanda and a baaz on each end. with this tied in with ur kesh, u can remove ur kara and kirpan if needed. I'm a nihang singh so this is the maryada i follow. also this is how i went to india n came back. :nihungsmile:

"Chaaklo Hutheyaar Khalsa, Hojavo Teyaar Khalsa" i've read the posts about the 'pakis', when are u guys gona stand up n do sumthing about it, hint hint slough ppl... And thw post about the thugs @ the Gurdwara... a true GurSikh would have dragged them out kicking and screaming if need be and delt with them in the mannor of the Khalsa... I think this is y i didnt join up all this time, cuz we all talk about x, y and z, but when will we talk about... 'oh did u hear what the SINGHS did to x, y and z..???' in my life i made that happen! when sum1 looks @ me they c a Sikh, and if they read up on us, they will know we are worriors... todays GurSikhs count on Bani for everything....? I'm not saying doing th@s wrong, but the way most of u do it yes it is... Fateh Ji well Sikhi to is a way of life, so th@ crosses out the R/S view/point. all there teachings are taken from Guru Ji so therefore are Sikh but dont wana show it or be apart of it. many who dont know about Sikhism who are R/S dont know th@ what they are hearing, learning is Sikhi , not radhaswamism... there is no real facts as to where they came from... the phrase 'choodra de bukeh' comes to mind... the main guy wanted some action, so lets make a cult... n base it on sumthing th@ not many ppl would wana turn to cuz they think its just a 'holy book' they have the idea of y follow text when u can hear it off a human... lol call me sad but i really wanted to know what 'Naam' was.. they aint allowed to tell no1 when they take it...so i kicked the <admin-profanity filter activated> out of this dude real bad n he told me... it was 'Waheguru'... well what do u know..
