  2. I agree for now it is not good to marry a person of different 'caste' just for the sake of it if this will provoke unhappiness for their parents. Caste will likely dissipate in a few generations time anyway.
  3. No need to ask GP - in any case the Nurse working in the Medical Centre usually administers. See official government guidance: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/663694/Greenbook_chapter_19_Influenza_.pdf "Most of the vaccines are prepared from viruses grown in embryonated hens' eggs."
  4. Punjabi Music and Movie Industry is one of the biggest in India. Is it driven by motivation to distract and de-moralise Punjabi Sikhs similar to what is happening in Europe and North America?

The UK foreign secretary will call for the release of the 37-year-old mother-of-one on humanitarian grounds, along with other dual nationals. Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been held in Tehran since April 2016 after being accused of spying, which she denies.
  13. Why the need to make it public and what is the Guardian's agenda?
  14. Yes, it's more of formality. Sikhi 'baptism' requires a full commitment to strict way of living
  15. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/jagtar-singh-joha-sikh-man-india-police-torture-remains-custody-jeremy-corbyn-briefed-case-a8075061.html Scottish Sikh man 'tortured' by Indian police remains in custody as Jeremy Corbyn briefed on case Labour leader 'expressed his disquiet with the method of abduction, the lack of access to lawyers', Sikh Federation says. A spokesman for the Sikh Federation said: "He expressed his disquiet with the method of abduction, the lack of access to lawyers, British consular staff and family for the first 10 days, Jagtar's allegations of third degree torture, the fact he remains in police custody rather than judicial custody and the refusal to grant an independent medical examination." Mr Corbyn promised to discuss the matter with Preet Kaur Gill, the chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for British Sikhs and Labour MP for Birmingham Edgbaston and to try and meet Mr Johal's family and campaigners early next week. Three members of the British High Commission, including Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Ayre attended Mr Johal's court hearing on Friday. His lawyer said he "pleaded his innocence" and stated he was unrelated to any of the crimes he is being linked with.
  16. Tommy Robinson wrongly posts tweets saying Oxford Street chaos 'looks like another jihadi attack' Georgie Darling,Yahoo News UK 16 hours ago Tommy Robinson has been forced to delete tweets suggesting the Oxford Street paniclooked like a terrorist attack carried out by jihadists. The notorious right-wing speaker, who recently had his blue ‘verified’ tick removed by Twitter, was quick to jump to conclusions when a stampede shook the popular shopping street, saying it ‘looks like another jihad attack in London’ to his 387,000 follows. As news around the incident developed quickly, the Metropolitan Police initially tweeted they were responding to the incident ‘as if it is terrorist related.’ However, shortly after they tweeted again, saying they had ‘not yet’ found a trace of suspects, shots or casualties.
  17. I like the humble tone of your posts - you clearly are 'jwaan'. Why don't you get an account like most of us on here? Who are these 'bogus hakims'? Why are they bogus? Do you know medical professionals (I assume you mean MBBS) often are not able to solve presenting problems? Plenty of people find alternative practitioners more helpful in some cases. Anyone, I am done with this thread, I just hope the OP has bothered to follow it, and sorts their problems out
