  1. I'm not sure whether it's the vaccine that's suss or whether it's all the other legislation that means everyone is controlled by the State that is more concerning
  2. No idea what you are saying. Do you mean to say that Indian Punjabi Sikhs are so rubbish at parchaar ? That Pakistanis are more 'zealous' about their beliefs ?
  3. Knew this whole story was 'suss' https://inews.co.uk/news/windsor-castle-intruder-crossbow-laws-priti-patel-man-remains-custody-1372639 Windsor Castle intruder: Priti Patel orders review of crossbow laws as 19-year-old man remains in custody Crossbows are legal in the UK and no licence or registration is required to own them at present as they are not legally classed as firearms – but people can be prosecuted for using them for illegal hunting or for attacking people By David Woode Reporter December 28, 2021 12:52 pm(Updated 1:28 pm) Priti Patel has ordered a review into crossbow laws after a 19-year-old man was arrested for allegedly carrying one in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Christmas Day. 5. 'Honorary Fellow' at St Edmund Hall, Oxford Given what we have seen in the media in the past 1-2 years, about students at many universities wanting to dissociate themselves from figures who have been involved with negative historical events, they might be very interested to know their great institution has 'honoured' someone like this... https://www.seh.ox.ac.uk/people/salman-khurshid Queen’s Lane, Oxford, OX1 4ARView on map Phone:+44 (0)1865 279000 Email:lodge@seh.ox.ac.uk
  6. There is so much distrust and dislike for each other between them, I won't be surprised if they physically attack each other especially if there is some anarchy or disorder in India. Ideally if there is anarchy in India, Sikhs shud get together and form a sikh state. That's why efforts shud be made NOW to get unity between sikh organizations. Where is original post from @ipledgeblue? ?
  7. 2022 is coming to a close. New Year starts in a few days. Does anyone have any thoughts about what will happen around the world next year? It can be serious or sarcastic, minor or major, but more specific the better please. And you can write your 'hopes' as well (of course, everything is in Maharaaj's Hukam). You can predict any deaths as well ?! Off hand, I don't know much of any scheduled events in politics or culture, other than Indian national elections. I have no idea what will happen in Panjab, but seems BJP are strong nationally In football/soccer, it's the World Cup, which I will follow with interest. I will tip Argentina or Brasil to win that one. Maybe Boris Johnson in the UK will resign as PM given he is under increasing pressure Will Joe Biden's health allow him to complete the following year as President - maybe not? Hoping Jagtar Singh Johal and other freedom fighters are released from prison

His confession was taken into account. December 23, 2021, 9.43 p.m. He is considered a key figure in the case of a so-called sales tax carousel that cost the German tax authorities almost 125 million euros: The British Peter Virdee Singh, known as "Batman", has been imprisoned for three years and three months in six cases by the Frankfurt am Main regional court for serious tax evasion To be sentenced. The attorney general there confirmed to SPIEGEL on request. The judgment was issued on December 16 - without the public having been informed. In the sentence, among other things, Singh's confession and voluntary "reparation payments" of the convicted person in the amount of 3.9 million euros played a role, it said. According to SPIEGEL information, Singh is currently back in Great Britain before he has to start his prison sentence. The United Kingdom transferred him to Germany a week before the verdict was to be pronounced. Officials from the Department for Serious and Organized Crime of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) accompanied him at the time. At times, Singh was one of the most wanted men in Europe. The fraud model of Singh and his accomplices was based on the trading of emission certificates , as the public prosecutor's office, tax investigators and the BKA reconstructed in years of investigative work: A group of business people imported CO 2 certificates tax-free from an EU country to Germany , smuggled them through numerous bogus companies and carried it out again through Deutsche Bank . The trick was to get 19 percent sales tax reimbursed by the tax authorities on export, which in truth was never paid. Several members of the gang had already been sentenced to imprisonment for this. Singh himself had long portrayed himself as a righteous, successful businessman. There are pictures of him shaking hands with Queen Elizabeth II or showing himself with pop star Rihanna . bbr / jdl / mgb
  10. This story seems 'off' to me Didn't Shaheed Udham Singh avenge Jallianwala Bagh Massacre ? Timing - close to what has happened with the beadbi attempt at Harmandir Sahib - could be GOI behind this Also, the clause 9 Nationality And Borders Bill proposed - the protaganist in this event would be an ideal candidate and another reason/example for the govt to use to put this bill For me, it doesn't add up.
  11. https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/predator-who-left-woman-baby-22543459 The predator who left a woman and her baby homeless at Christmas in disturbing assault Mahmun Ahmed was jailed after breaking into the woman's house and assaulting her in her own bed. Now his victim can not face going home SHARE By Rachel SmithCourt reporter 14:15, 23 DEC 2021 NEWS Enter your postcode for local news and info A woman said she has been forced to live in a hotel with her baby after a predator crept into her home and violated her 'safe haven.' Mahmun Ahmed, 33, was handed an extended prison sentence after Judge Graham Knowles QC said he posed a serious risk to lone women. His victim, who can not be identified for legal reasons, was asleep in her flat in Lancaster when Ahmed climbed in through the living room window and got into bed with her. At first she thought it was her former partner but when she turned on the bedroom light she found a complete stranger had been cuddling and kissing her. Judge Knowles said Ahmed was driven by 'entrenched attitudes to relationships' and feeling 'entitled to sexual fulfilment.' Speaking about the impact of the offence, which took place in the early hours of October 21 2021, the woman said: "As a young single parent I had little money although I was able to work hard and save for this flat. "It is a place I enjoyed spending time and making memories. I loved watching my baby growing up, learning to crawl. "This flat was my home, my safe haven, my own and my life. This has all been turned on its head by this one incident. "I was asleep in my own bed, no more than an arm's length away from where my child was asleep. "I was at my most vulnerable - I wasn't able to protect myself and I wasn't able to protect my child. Then waking up to find a man, a stranger, lying next to me in my own bed, kissing me, touching me, putting his tongue in my mouth in my house, my safe space.... "All this has left me feeling dirty and unclean, inside and out. "I constantly feel sick thinking about the situation. I don't fully know what happened before I woke up. Did the man only lie next to me? Did he touch me anywhere else? I don;t know what may have happened if I hadn't woken up. "Would he have gone further? Would he have raped me? Would he have hurt my baby? "I also don't know if this man was clean or if he had a disease. Did he have covid? "I have had to move out of my home as I no longer feel safe in my flat, the flat I have worked so hard to make my home. Everything about the flat brings back memories, distressing memories, that make me feel unsafe. "The council have so far only been able to move me into a hotel in a different town, isolated from all my support. "At night I sit in the hotel after I have put the baby to bed and sit in silence, zoning out and feeling numb. I am haunted by the 'what ifs?' "I have realised I have been drinking most nights. This is to try and help me sleep, to dull the feelings and thoughts. When I do go to bed I lie there awake for hours. "Guests in the hotel walk down the hall - every bang, crack, any noise makes me jump. I have been prescribed sleeping tablets but I am afraid to take them because I want to be able to wake up. "One of the things that keeps me going is my baby. "It stirs emotion I never thought I would feel. I hate feeling that way but I can't help it. "I break down and cry constantly, for no apparent reason. "My hair has started to fall out and my gums and mouth bleed. I put this down to the stress this situation has triggered. "I have been diagnosed with depression and have been referred for counselling. I find myself asking, 'why me?' I did nothing to deserve this. "This man has taken away my trust in humanity."
  12. Very interesting post, I have family from near Sahnewal. Never heard Arya Samaaj talk from them. How did you learn all this ?
  13. @dallysingh101has done more than anyone else on this site on raising awareness of these 'wrong uns' . He might be older than all of us, but life experience is the best teacher and he's put more doubts in my mind (in a good way) about being too trustful of anyone, and to be more street smart. I think as ones gets older, you become more cynical and less trusting. @SikhKoshI reckon you are in your 20's still ? You seem too trusting. Yes, those Pakistanis who have same gotra like Sikhs (most common ones seem to be Bajwa, Waraich, Cheema, Bhatti) probably are 'softer' than some. And it would be good to find common ground with the more secular Panjabis as they could help us with more access. And these ones are from around Lahore , Faislabad, Sialkot, Nankana Sahib. But, push comes to shove, they will put Islam first before Punjabiyat. And even if some of these are true 'liberal/SJW' types, they won't last long before something happens to them from their other 'brothers'. Also, true that most of the groomers in UK seem Mirpuris. But, I reckon more than you would think are actually 'Punjabi' as well - at least, from the areas around Rawalpindi and Gujar Khan who seem to be quite similar to Mirpuris given the geographical proximity.
  14. Looking at it now and given the context of her being a MP, I think she would be careful to let any emotions get better of her and think before she speaks. So, I agree, likely a fake
  15. Must be! I was trying to find this when I saw the other thread about the orphanage. This thread is one of the most strange but interesting threads I have read here, shame we don't know what happened after
  16. @SikhKosh Where did you talk to these jats ? How exactly do they consider themselves 'different' ?
