you can make your own neem oil which will also encourage growth by rehydrating neem leaves /powder and make into a paste , taking a double boiler melt about one cup 125 ml coconut oil then add four heaped tablespoon of the neem paste , cook until the oil takes on a deep green shade , stop and cool, strain out the leaves and you have your neem hair treatment...
  3. it's the fault of the parents during the late eighties and nineties their kids weren't taken down to gurdwara so become balle balle shava shava crowd and then their kids are now cocnuts ready for the plucking by opportunistic musley and angrez . Those who had solid parents , grew up in sikhi , and now still take their kids even if they are not as dyed in the wool like their maa pio (current kids grands). The good thing is the oldies are becoming goldies because they have more access to stuff (purataan granths katha etc) now, than they did back in the day and are influencing grandkids and discussing with their adult kids....so it'll slowly come back up just need to keep spreading the knowledge and access. the other thing that I think we need to address is the whole pacifist movement thrown upon us .... https://www.bullshido.net/the-solution-to-bad-people-violent-is-making-good-people-better-at-violence/
  4. you want to quote Gandhi to sikhs as a valid philosophy when that paedo <banned word filter activated> called Dasmesh pita ji a deluded rebel ? ... try growing a spine and seeing the world for what it is non-friendly to sikhi ...or anything Godly or good and decide to fight for right and justice for the oppressed otherwise what good is your sikhi ?... we are all supposed to bring light to this dark world ...not hide our God given jot under a kambal and turn a blind eye

  7. 'the book' honestly you think that was something any Sikh would take in and listen to the rest of your spiel ? kudh beadbhi karke kisse hor nu matt sunauna ... es nu kehnde nasamji The easiest way is for beginners is to listen to kirtan then look up the shabads and read around that shabad in Guru ji , it consolidates the meaning of the shabad kirtan and helps motivate singing of that Gurbani and the exposure to the shabads around that first shabad in Guru ji helps expand knowledge in a natural way.

baby oil is the worst thing you could put on you and your baby it is a petrochemical by product and blocks the pores of the skin... swap it for a natural cold pressed fruit/nut/seed oil

try castor oil , cold pressed and organic ...you can add rose otto oil , lemon oil, rosemary even peppermint essential oil for scent . when we were young mum used to get Indian 'swastika' brand of perfumed castor oil and our hair was lovely and strong , Dad used to mix it half and half with coconut for his hair. flaxseed oil mixed with castor and cold pressed organic olive oil would give a lot of different nutrients to you scalp

  15. problem is Ofsted wants schools to toe the govt line and any variances from national curriculum is seen as problematic , fine kids need challenges easy enough to sort out but will that sort that negativity out ?

  18. even Lakha SIdhana agrees that our youth need to feel a sense of belonging and connection http://www.azaadsikhmedia.com/lakha-sidhana-strikes-sidhu-moosevaala/
  19. point is to keep punj kakkar with you , so I do not see a problem , the type of kirpan I'm talking about is the one with mian not just symbolic pendant. If you can wear a dastar I can't see a reason to object it is not like the dastar isn't going to cushion any possible headclashes.
  20. OP Brother, why don't you wear a travel kirpan three inch size inside your dastar , will there be a problem with your kara too ? if so I'm sure you can also wear it inside your bunga. my sons used take their chain kirpans and put them up this way for school matches because chains with kirpans were deemed unsafe ...once they did this no hassles. Little one wears thick longer length wrist sweatband over her kara for football practice .
  21. it is this sense of failing in my duties that kept me awake , I feel asleep and did namasakar of Guru ji by presenting my bow and arrows (guess this is direct message to my question) in the scene in my mind asking for Guru Sahiban blessings on doing the right thing in this life using the tools blessed to me .
  22. you are assuming a lot too that the people tempted are married ... what is wrong with keeping your sense of honour whereever you are ? I hear so many stupid people (women included) excusing extramarital affairs because of absence from home , really by that basis Men are no better than dogs or wild beasts? If Guru ji has told you as his son ALL others are sisters, daughters mothers (vice versa for women)... is that not enough of a command ? According to Guru ji ANY transgression is against sikhi , if you are having an affair you are Bijjhar kurehiti a fate worse than death to be kicked out from Guru Pita ji's protection
  23. I'm talking about uniqueness : we don't use (extramarital affairs/war time affairs), we don't abuse(rape/enslavement) , we don't murder (attack unarmed/innocents)...all these are marks of the Khalsa Character and thus going against any is equally bad .
