    Dmt?

drugs are not mukhti ,gian or naam ... nothing will help except naam abihaas. No magic pill will let you see the True One only your loving remberance
  2. Bhai Sahib , don't be fooled there are a lot of muslim girls who pull the wool over their parents' eyes too, kalyug affects them too you know ...what I have seen and heard beggars belief but they too lack in moral fibre ...so finger pointing at our houses on fire when their own is smoking is silly. Punjabi is the language of the people and as such should be respected as it is the simple folk who have been the most solid Sikhs giving their all to sikhi, wealth, health and families. I don't care if these Johnny-come-latelys think Punjabi is too unrefined for them I love it and I will speak it where Guru ji takes me and encourage my children and others to use not lose it.
  3. A beautiful update http://www.jagbani.com/news/article_403023/ Now all we need is their Guru's fail at court and he will have sanskar ...na rehegi Bans na bajegi bansuri
  4. I think you will find the new blood coming into the kaum will be the warriors and the movement will come from the grassroots rather than the organisations just as it was in the past .
  5. Veer ji , yes I see a Singh playing Tabla but he wasn't wearing a farla on his dastar , that would have been the utmost disrespect to Guru ji , what I do see is he had on a dumalla with chakra. He is not dancing or anything just sitting down a playing tabla beats. I am supposing that is his profession - musician, if so he is doing his job . I didn't know there was a restriction on SInghs on where they can play tabla or other instruments. I personally would never play tanti saaj for aam loki's amusement but only for Guru ji's bani because I know they were created just for that task and my heart just wont let me
  6. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh From what I have been told by Gursikhs and my bajurg , Guru Nanak Dev ji did parkarma of ik Ongkar , thus setting precedent of doing pherey aroung GurBani for marriage ceremony. Also where the couples did not go around was purely to save the bibi from falling or stumbling due to the lengthy programs prior to completion of Anand Karaj as legs would fall asleep or she was nervous .i.e. manmat. p.s. they used to do koond (manmatt again) I remember my Mamas' weddings and that was seventies and two Mamis had koond in front of Guru ji, if you can't see you're gonna trip
  7. unfortunately it has become a current trend to bait SIkhs by bad-mouthing Mahapurakhs such as Sant Isher SIngh Rara Sahib wale , Sant ji, and others . One can look at whether the Mahapurakh spoken of brought people to sikhi or to some perversion of Guru ji's message , whether they direct to Guru's charan or their own ... after all all the sakhian show one should not test such a Purakh but there are nishaani that gurbani shows us , that the true nature of a person of high avasta will have.Ultimately we should improve our avasta so we will know what that avasta is.
  8. well I seem to be reading muslimist propaganda ...thanks for the information but I believe in My Guru's Bachan that Khalsa Raj will come and there will be many more Khalsa than Pakistan will know what to do with ... enjoy your life
  9. Harsh assessment , yes some areas are a bit rough and ready but if you do a little research on frommers.com you can print off walking tours which take in the major sites and give some insight to the history of the town. I didn't bother with eiffel tower but I would deffo recommend a day or two in the lourve and taking a boat trip down the seine gives a different feel to the town. If you can try speaking a little french the people are less sniffy because they recognise you are making an effort. I admit I do not like the feel of Paris because the energy there is very dark to me but on the superfical level it is pretty enough. I prefer Rome. p.s. Gandhi's are quite pricey , but that's true of Paris generally
  10. i did look at this list and ate a lot of fresh fruit while there from the supermarche http://www.timeout.com/paris/en/food-and-drink/vegetarian-restaurants-in-paris
  11. sit looking at (facing) pillow not suffocating yourself , otherwise you'd have other probs to deal with :biggrin2:
  12. I have kept all the shastars , even the tiny first kirpans for the boys , with the intention to gift to other sikhs who have children of the right size
  13. How does one get rid of useless kirpans like this ....is there a special way ?
  14. even support need to be fearless too so that all can face up to the coming storm, too often people want us to forgot we ever were that daler one and all from the kids to the bajurgs
  15. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh Today "Sikh Voice" is criticising the way sangat did satkar of Sant Baba Teja Singh ji , when will these guys shut up ? They object to chaur sahib being done and fans above Baba ji . Honestly its like watching unpard people trying to teach others how to read ...kamai hundi tan phir samaj auni see .... they haven't stopped there ...they even had the audacity to call Sant Teja Singh ji a pakhandi
  16. an army is only as good as its preparation ... need to reclaim the warrior spirit from missionary waffler mentality
  17. it's like living in a town/city but never getting to know the highlights/points of interest that is until a foreigner/stranger asks you for advice what to see... we are all strangers in our own home , Waheguru Kirpa karo sanu Naam daan baksho
  18. just expanding meaning of kateb for people who don't know ...what it includes ... that's all
  19. Actually it is char kateb - injil is actual new testament quran is one of the katebs, taurat -torah of jews and Zorab is last one
  20. Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh, wonderful example of the power of sikhi... beautiful Singhni
  21. Bhenji can you ask someone to help you prise it out from the mian ? Might need a tug of war if very stubborn ...
  22. Veer ji, In this country UK , if a woman brings a false accusation and it is found out she will get a case on her for wasting police time and probably more . Anyways, keep up with your Banis and your good character , people know you for that and will automatically dismiss her silliness . We had similar 'mudslinging' going on in our family and the female was also from India , maybe it's the software they are loaded up with these days , the person she accused has NEVER been known for that kind of behaviour with anyone so everyone knew instantly what her game was. Her justification was that her bhabhi told her in-laws are like this and like that , but the truth was in her situation the inlaws were good people who honestly treated her better than own kids. Truth will always come out...stay in chardikala
  23. when he said 'we will not let that happen' I thought whoa something's not right here ... I've met sikhs from all kinds of backgrounds videsi and desi and no one I know has been so ...menancing ... All understand we have been Told by Guru ji via hukamnameh to learn Gurmukhi and that too from a Gursikh, it is part of our necessary education so Guru's sikhs can be self-reliant in reading Bani . Of course people from diverse backgrounds start off with their home language but those translations can be so low quality e.g. the German one Bhenji was complaining about that ideally you want to hear the True word as it was originally spoken and the arth is pure . But what would I know I am only trying to follow my Guru's Bachan.
  24. Kateb is the word used for the semitic texts
  25. it is not reasonable to assume all people outside India will be able to read Hindi script , however most can read english and gurmukhi script . OP did not post anything in English , but I am guessing just asking for Gurmukhi script got people very upset so asking for that would have been really really bad
