  1. Someone should have reminded these white canuck mfs about their own culture of murdering and burying indigenous children in the back yard. That being said, I hope this guy wasn't a nonce. But we do know from the UK, that certain groomed girls are trained by their groomers to make claims like this to get them removed from their parents and moved into shelter homes were they can be more easily accessed by perverts. I'd like to ask all the sisters here. If you found out that an older relative was a nonce, would you report him?
  2. That's something my generation witnessed being brought into being, and I can tell you around my ends black and brown men and even young teenagers, beat, stabbed and axed some respect into many whites, who were racist as f**k. So if you've grown up in the wake of this, and closeted too, don't be under any illusion that racism disappeared because of goodwill, least of all white goodwill. Many of those racist tossers are still about, they weren't exactly killed. They are in positions of power now. That has implications.
  3. As an east Londoner, I don't really have much appreciation of those ends at all. They produce some of the most backwards people I've ever met. Overt, conspicuous displays often conceal the most shallow convictions in my experience. If I was there I'd avoid most of the apnay there myself. We've already seen on this very forum how proud jut locals from those ends didn't even have a clue about what was going on under their very nose in the 90s with the whole chalvey southall thing, but guys from the other side of town were more clued up. Says it all to me. I think a lot jaats want space from juts and their politics now, because I've been watching it for decades , and it plainly looks like one set of pro-india juts murdering the other pro-Khalistan ones. If they don't even have any basic respect for each other like that, I think the rest of us know where we stand. Also, from the outside it looks like its tied to specific jut economic interests more than Sikhi right now. I understand that you need the 'power' of Sikhi to help mobilise and organise you against those hitting your pockets. It's not worth labouring the point. If there was any genuine desire for a egalitarian Sikh society we'd know by now. But we can all see from what certain people consistently promote via songs and now even crappy movies, what the score is. I think the jaat that put up with this below and were still loyal to those who did it to them...... .....would naturally struggle to understand another people's refusal to be treated as second rate citizens, especially in a dharam like Sikhi which has been consistently preaching against this from the very beginning. So let people develop according to their own trajectories now. And you know what, I've known a few educated juttis who've preferred to go to the other Gurdwara and I think it's because they are a bit tired of the constant hyperbole and shrill style of communication that is common in jut political circles. It has this schizogenic, paranoid quality about it, where x is a evil bogeyman one minute, and then an ally the next? 'This' guy is a traitor/ then no 'that' guy is! Like the BJP for example. I don't trust most jut men's ability to pierce through misinformation and find solid ground. I don't think they have that particular ability. They seem very fractured, and non-reflective. Like all those years of going to the british government about 1984 when it was obvious they didn't give a toss?? Some are pro Indian and ready to kill other Sikhs for it, some against. Some more Panjabi than Sikh and dreaming of some Panjabi unity with people who've long been hostile to us. Some who can't tell the difference between Panjabi culture and their dharam. Some still stuck in some colonial era constructed mental prison too - and proud about it as well??!?!??! I think we, as a community, have been smashed into backwardness through colonisation and have a while to go before we evolve into something capable of dealing with the issues that the 21st century is bringing to us, in a confident, robust, independent way. Thankfully, my faith is Sikhi trumps my lack of faith in certain other people! lol I guess we're all going to see what the future holds. Akal Sahai. But all of you people who want to create some bahman like jaat hierarchy in Sikh society can go f**k themselves and die as far as I'm concerned. And I know there are a lot of you. But like I said earlier, some of us know how to make our own space away from all this.
  4. The type of stuff Sarah Everard's rapist killer policeman's fellow police friends were up to (carry on below for the official police reaction.......): Three Met Police officers are charged with sharing 'grossly offensive' racist and misogynistic Whatsapp messages with Sarah Everard's rapist and killer PC Wayne Couzens Ex-PC Wayne Couzens was handed a rare whole-life term last September He kidnapped, raped and murdered 33-year-old Ms Everard in March Couzens flashed women on a number of occasions before he committed murder https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10523575/Three-Met-Police-officers-charged-sharing-grossly-offensive-messages-Wayne-Couzens.html How a deeply racist, degenerate police force reacts........ 5. Yep, the wests tactics are now common knowledge for any even half-sentient being. Liz Truss clashes with Putin henchman Sergei Lavrov over Ukraine in Moscow showdown as he rejects demand to cool 'Cold War rhetoric' and slams West's 'ultimatums and moralising' - as TV host accuses her of 'behaving in the classic British colonial style' Vladimir Solovyov accused Ms Truss of 'behaving in the classic British colonial style', tweeting: 'A London official came to the colony to lecture the subjugated natives…' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10498203/Liz-Truss-clashes-Russian-counterpart-Sergei-Lavrov-Ukraine.html
  6. Can you see parallels between what the anglos did to Sikh raj? Interestingly (and probably not surprisingly) it was akali nihangs (esp. Akali Phoola Singh) who were most acutely aware of what brits were doing and who wanted to react to it before anyone else. But M. Ranjit Singh didn't take their warning - the rest is ithihaas.
  7. There is a whole rhythmic - sound element missing with translations too. Call it vibrations. That you can only get with the original. It's not all about semantics.
  8. Here's the account of Honigberger who was in charge of prisoners healthcare in Lahore prison for a while: Provisions for ill prisoners in Lahore jail. ...........................................................I received an order from the Durbar to establish an hospital in the jail of Lahore also, which was on the same spot whereon, a short time before, I had erected the powder-mill. During the last two years of my office (1848 and 1840) out of 800 prisoners, only twenty-one patients died in the space of twelve months and they, of severe wounds, marasmus, or, dysentery. The jail, with its hospital, is situated outside the city, in one of the filthiest quarters, where all the wells of the neighbourhood fountain contain briny or bitter water; and notwithstanding all my endeavours and remonstrances, I could not obtain from the government any better nourishment for my patients, than the usual jail diet, so that I was obliged, in several cases, to have recourse to a part of the unemployed funds of the public hospital of the Durbar, in order to provide such comforts as were necessary. Taking these circumstances into consideration, my management was peculiarly fortunate; for, during a period of two years from the foundation of that hospital, not a single patient died of an acute disease — such as inflammation, fever, cholera, serpent bites, &c. of which I had many cases ; some of them so dangerous, that I had to visit the patients three or four times a-day. My successor was less fortunate ; for, during the first six months after the annexation (from May till October 1849) while I was still in the country, he lost upwards of sixty patients out of 1 ,000, not to mention those who were dismissed as incurable. I may state, with regard to the latter, that the experiments I made on similar diseases had often been crowned with success. It was thought that the great mortality during these six months was caused by the small and unhealthy situation of the hospital, in consequence of which a larger was built, on the opposite side of the jail. The prisoners received better nourishment, were not so oppressed by hard labor, and were permitted to use tobacco, opium, poppy-heads, hemp, churrus, &c. which had been prohibited. I afterwards learned, that these changes had not been of much use ; and I believe the mortality is still greater than that of the first two years. https://www.sikhawareness.com/topic/12872-john-martin-honigberger-maharajah-ranjit-singhs-doctor/#comment-114331
  9. To me, all of this just reinforces what I thought about Panjabi politics, maybe it's better to give it distance and focus on Sikhi as a ground level, socio-politico-spiritual movement at grass roots, like our earlier Gurus did? At least for now, until we get some semblance of order in the ranks. Otherwise we'll just have those gangster sociopathic games being played by our people, who'd be our heroes one minute, and betraying us the next.
  10. Surely you know sehajdhari Sikhs have been around from day one? From Mahan Kosh:
  11. Look people like Badal are ones with no conscience and loyalty. They see all of these political plays as games for them to win. Plus like all sociopaths they have an extremely large appetite for material wealth. Things were very confusing back then. Even I don't know what to make of it all this time after. I judge older Badal by his subsequent actions and how he steered Panjab. If people think it is a mess today, the process surely started under his tenure. We have to grasp these people's psychology i.e. the end goal justifies any actions, any betrayal, any lying as long as you are at the 'top' at the end of it. Just like KPS Gill, though he obviously had a sick, violent, sadistic streak in him too - which trickled down to those he was in charge of.
  12. It's scary though dude. It looks like there ain't a shred of integrity in the politics out there. Even if someone decent came up, it just looks like they'll be knocked off or compromised in no time.
  13. When you live long enough, you can see these things coming a mile off. We need to focus on our thing at ground level. As a social movement. Most desis can't seem to resist being compromised when they go into politics.
  14. So we are agreed on something. Simply put, tarkhans know how to create their own space and you can't do anything about it. <wink wink>
  15. Yesterday he was a boliyan paa-ing casteist , today he is a congress leader........flipping hell. I bet you he'll switch to some other party sooner or later.
  16. If you think you're going to make any money out of it, wake up.........lol Unless you're planning on being another sellout mouthpiece for outsiders to use against us? And brother, I pray you never go down that route, whatever internal issues we have.
  17. I don't dispute that, but I'm talking about things juts do as a community or society (not all individuals) like exclude mazhbhis and abuse and supress them casually, on a sort of societal level, like they are trying to reconstruct some social hierarchy that is antithetical to Sikhi exactly like the bahman one, but with them on top. Most juts (not all) struggle with confronting such things and go into complete denial about it. It's seem to be a behavioural norm. Juts have high levels of in ingroup thinking and conformity too - infinitely more than tarkhans. They don't seem to be able to think outside the box. The irony is that east african tarkhans appear to have reacted to juts by doing similar to them and creating their own gurdwara networks, and also ensuring they dominate committees exactly like juts do with Singh Sabha gurdwaras. That's why I think juts hate them so much - they returned the arrogant, contemptuous, exclusionary, supercilious behaviour of juts back to them successfully. But as you've probably guessed, the african tarkhans usually see us Panjabi tarkhans as quite unprogressive too. But remember, if juts get characteristically obnoxious with tarkhans and try their funny exclusionary business in gurdwaras (which many tarkhans feel they've done to mazhbhis and ravidassias etc.) - tarkhans can literally build their own gurdwaras with their own hands - and could do so long before juts or most other jaats could. They even helped juts with their ones in old times like Singh Sabha Southall. Their employment opportunities (having transferrable skills) were also better than an unskilled jut when both sides landed in the UK. But I know Panjabi tarkhans showed a lot of heart in helping juts out, who'd be stuck in typical sullay cleaning, minicab or factory work otherwise. So we have had a degree of freedom that others Sikhs haven't. And what a lot of juts just can't fathom is that we do not want to be like you. We aren't an unintelligent people, we can see all the problems you have in your society and cause to the panth despite your constant posturing as saviours of the panth. A lot of us think you're characteristically two faced people - most loyal to some deranged biraderi - rather than Sikhi - and that explains a lot of what we see. We Sikhs used to have Gurmatta where a broad consensus was reached in an open fashion in the panth. Today, most juts are completely deaf to any voice other than their own. Any need other than their own. Exceptions exist, but they are a tiny minority and make little impact on the general mindset of the majority (right now). If I went and opened up on all the perverted gundh, criminality and hypocrisy I've seen from jut quarters over decades - we'd be here for a long time ipledgeblue. I'm street too, so.........I'm well informed. Also I've grown up around both apnay and sullay juts - I can see how similar you guys are. More than you are with other Sikhs and like to openly admit. Not a people to be easily trusted, a people who routinely prioritise their older caste norms and links over any Sikhs ones. Many of whom I believe only have a recent provenance in panth, and that too due to financial problems more than belief.
  18. What is it that you've got to say that you think is so new anyways?
  19. You're actually a perfect exemplar of the type of constantly obfuscating, compulsive lying type I'm talking about. Absolutely no reflective ability. Sociopathic with delusions of grandeur. BTW most of those pak grooming pedos are your biraderi 'brethren'. Same blood as you, just a different religion. Just so you know. I hope your dress sense isn't as outdated as your casteist views, for your sake. lol
  20. We should be happy that in the face of potential ww3 over Ukraine, we don't have hordes of our pendus lined up to be canon fodder.
  21. I'd say a mixture of greed and naivety? On another forum a canadian brother was saying that nowadays young females are being sent abroad first because they are more clever than the thick blokes and pass the ILETS, but then chose to leave their husband behind and not call him over after.
  22. I think this is it. It's impossible to frame Sikhi within some binary/duality framework upon which the whole of western thought is revolved around.
  23. I think you are in complete denial of your own jaats actions. There's a reason why every other last jaat moves away from yourselves. And it stems from your sociopathic behaviours.
  24. This was posted almost exactly 9 years ago, so the problem isn't new: Jalandhar (Punjab), Nov 20 (IANS) Many young women from Punjab in search of jobs abroad end up illegally in Greece, where they are forced into the flesh trade, says an NGO that has taken up their cause after a request from gurdwaras in that country. Managing committees of Greece-based gurdwaras have written to Punjab NGO Lok Bhalai Party (LBP), which works for the rights of Indians stranded abroad, to stop Punjabi girls from coming to Greece. The gurdwaras have pointed out that Punjabi girls, in search of better jobs, are reaching Greece illegally, but there are no opportunities available for them there. 'Ten gurdwaras in Greece have collectively sent us a request letter to stop the people of Punjab from sending girls to Greece as there are no jobs available there,' the NGO's senior vice-president Avtar Singh Mullanpuri told IANS here. 'Failing to find any jobs, these girls live in very miserable conditions and many of them are forced into flesh trade,' he added. Around 50 girls are currently stranded in Greece, he said. 'They can stay in the gurdwaras during the day but according to the rules of the Greece government, they cannot stay there at night. So, the girls are on roads at night and are sexually exploited many a time,' Mullanpuri said. He alleged that Baba Gurnam Singh, a travel agent from Moga in Punjab who resides in Georgia, has been placing advertisements in media and taking Punjabi girls to that country and handing them over to Pakistan-based agents, who illegally take them to Greece through the forests of Turkey. 'Agents are sexually exploiting the helpless girls who do not know the local language. We do not even have an Indian embassy in Georgia which the victims can approach,' Mullanpuri pointed out. The Lok Bhalai Party has started a campaign to deal with the problem and its representatives have urged the government for intervention. Said the NGO's president Balwant Singh Ramoowalia: 'We have started a campaign to educate Punjab's people that they should not send their children to Georgia and Greece. There are no jobs for them there. Travel agents are minting money by making false promises.' 'We also urge the central and state governments to immediately intervene in the matter and ensure the safe return of the girls. They also need to keep a tab on the unscrupulous agents,' Ramoowalia said. 'We have sought a list of the girls' names and addresses from the gurdwaras so that we can approach their families in Punjab,' he added. Ramoowalia said family members of the victim girls are not coming out in the open as they are afraid of social stigma and criticism. He said the stranded girls, who are from different parts of Punjab, are in their early 20s and they had reached Georgia on student visas. In their letter to the NGO, the Greece gurdwaras have mentioned that earlier there were cases of Punjabi men illegally coming there but now they have observed a sudden surge in the number of girls adopting this illegitimate immigration path.
