  1. I mention the fact that Bittu visits ex militants houses because, for example - family of Shaheed Major Baldev Singh Ghuman openly have said that Mann did not visit them at any time. Other shaheed families have said the same. Mann alientated many shaheed families who should have been honoured. this way he lost their support. Bittu goes to see them - gives them pride in what their families did for us. Mann does not. Mann has no grass roots connection.
  2. sarpanch with all due respect, do you know anything about sikh political history in late 1980's and early 1990's? Mann, with a backing of the majority of people who voted in punjab did NOT call for Khalistan. Instead after he was released by RAJIV GANDHI in 1989 he won an election and subsquently he went to talk to the government for peace. In 1991 he held talks with VP Singh government - hence the Babbar Khalsa called him a sell out. From a position of power - he let us down. Badal was then able to take control of the majority of Akali voters who saw Mann as unable to be strong and "extreme". Akali voters then became moderates as they saw that Mann did not have the stomach for a fight. How many shaheed families has Mann been to meet? Bittu sees them every week. Did Mann support Shaheed Beant Singh's family? No, the Taksal did. think before you speak.
  3. mann is the one who speaks nonsense. he has been at the forefront of our struggle for 20 years. what has he achieved? he lost his seat as an mp to dhindsa a few years back. his speeches in parliament made no sense. more importantly when he had a chance in 1989-1991 to unite sikhs and press home the elected majority he MESSED it up. he had 6/13 seats and 2 independents if im not mistaken and he still managed to SCREW IT UP. Mann is Badal number 2. Promoting his own son ahead of real militants. Bittu fired guns - sacrificed his whole youth - wasnt scared to fight. Mann had little respect amongst true kharkus singhs. They called him as crafty politician. The Babbar Khalsa denounced him in Wangar in 1991 when he went for talks with the government. I THINK MANN LOVERS NEED TO READ SOME HISTORY. We need passion and for the youth to see that leaders do not promote their sons. Mann has no passion and promotes his son. SELFISH. Bittu has passion with youth. 5 pradhani = new Panthic Committee. TELL ME - is a follower of Mann more likely to punish Lucha Baba Ram Rahim or a follower of Bittu? We all know the answer.
  4. agree with das nimana above. bittu is the best. he is not a cat. he cheema and barapind have spent their whole youth in jail - goto www.sikhsiyasat.com you will see what bittu does. mann is now crazy old man.
  5. i am neutral. i dont know what went on. but on what basis what anyone take out a private prosecution against mr powar? i see no basis other than he apparently "lied". even if there was a basis it would costs serious money. who has that type of money even if they seriously believed in whatever it was worth fighting for? even if they won all it would show is that he lied. therefore that type of suggestion is a smokescreen argument. dpp and cps could only go against him for lying under oath - i think they have better things to do and spend public money on as they would need to justify the cost of a new case - and in this instance there would be none - so again a smokescreen argument.
  6. we cant be like them. force in this case is bad. mann again shows he is mad and out of touch.
  7. dal khalsa already issued statement saying cant force anybody to wear turban.
  8. we wont obtain khalistan at this point in time, probably not for another 30 years but it will be achieved. once achieved, it may only last 20 years, we dont know, but it is worth it.
  9. www.expressindia.com] 3 students punished for wearing turbans Express News Service Mohali, April 29 After France, it is now Mohali banning students from wearing turbans in schools. Three students of Class X of Lawrence Public School were today asked to leave their classrooms by the school authorities for wearing turbans and were made to sit in a separate room as punishment. Principal Veena Malhotra said they had flouted the rules of the school which reads ‘the students upto class X should wear patka but she failed to produce any such rule written in the school diary. The Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, however, demanded action against the school. Inderjeet Singh, Gursewak Singh and Ravinder Singh, all class X students, had come to school wearing turbans. About 9.30 am, the school principal visited the class and asked these three students to get up and come out. “She asked us not to wear turbans in the school, claiming that it doesn’t look nice,” claimed Gursewak Singh. They were asked to take their school bags out of the class and were directed not to attend any class for the whole day as punishment. The authorities said that they will impose a fine of Rs 50 per day if they wear turbans in the school, one of the students said. Principal Veena Malhotra said their dress code does not allow turbans and it is mandatory for students of upto Class X. “We have prescribed patka for Sikh students and they should abide by the rules of the school. We asked them to sit in a separate room just because they flouted the norms. We will not let them attend classes if they wear turbans again,” she added. But she failed to produce any such rule existing in the rulebook and any such norm ever being communicated to the students. The SGPC has demanded action against the school. Hardeep Singh, member of SGPC from Mohali, said they will protest against the disrepute brought to the Sikh religion by the school authorities and will take up the matter with the SGPC. “Turban is a part of Sikhism and nobody can deter Sikh students from wearing them,” he added. The Principles address in case anyone wants to send an 'informative' (NOT threatening or abusive) message.

  12. i have the utmost respect for ddt but at the end of the day without wanting to cause any disrespect to baba thakur singh, the ddt did prolong a falsehood (in the presence of guru ji - i am not a kala afghana supporter) for many years so i wouldnt be shocked if it did happen
  13. banda i dare you to ask the families of the riot victims for "proof". shame on you that you can type and "lol" on a such an issue.
